Way to go Carl! It's been enjoyable watching you develope your game and overcome many obstacles through your hard work at Purdue both on the court and in the weight room.

The Rockets better release Yao and T-Mac and develope some teenagers. Hopefully, they might be in the play-off again in the next decade. The Nuggets are working to add pieces for AI and Melo. But the Rockets think that being in the play-off is more than enough.

Perfect situation for Carl. Houston needs a complimentary PF to compliment Yao. I can't wait to see him develop in to a starting player in the league.

Rod Wilmont was way better. I can't believe he didn't get drafted. I thought Earl Calloway would go too. Oh well, Eric Gordon will be the number one pick next year and we don't have to hear about Carl Landry.

Rod Wilmont I guess 1 season makes you a sure draft pick? I don't think so. As for Eric Gordon going #1 that won't happen.

I'm not really a NBA fan, but with Landry on the squad I think I'll be buying season tickets...

Being as how JSC is here in Houston, there are plenty of Boilers in this town.

Welcome to Houston, Carl.

Congrats Carl!

Too bad it couldn't have been just one pick earlier (to ensure a guaranteed contract and generally then a guaranteed spot on the roster), but I'm sure he'll be a fine player for the Rockets even if his role changes to more of a complementary player.

If there aren't some serious roster moves made to the Pacers lineup, it is looking like I'll be watching more Rockets games than Pacers games next season.
