For those of you who aren't watching the Heat this year. You are trully missing something specail . We are witnessing the formation of a true run and gun team that plays together and unlike the Suns we can actually defend as well. Finally the restraints have been lifted and the "half court, set" offense is no longer apart of our repoitore. We finally have what looks like the perfect back court guard to complement Wade in Mario Chalmers. This kid can flat out do it all, he drives, he dishes, unbelievable defender and this is just with a quarter of the season in the books. We are starting to gel and play together. Joel Anthony is a great Ben Wallace type center, great defender and rebounder.. With Wade, Chalmers, Beasley and Marion/Haslem and Anthony this is trully the team of the future. Watch out Pistons and Celtics within the next 2 years the Heat wlll be dominant...

Wade is clearly MVP right now and playing like he is possessed..

GO HEAT !!!!

Its a shame Wade won't win the mvp simply because of miamis record---because I guarantee that if lebron was on miami, and wade had lebrons supporting cast in cleveland---cleveland would be the best team in the east...and now Lebron is leading the mvp voting....Lebron is an all star---but what stops him from being grate is killer instinct and clutch...and thats something your born with--something wade has shown since his rookie year in the nba...WADE FOR MVP SCREW THE RECORDS

Agreed - totally. Team continues to come together. Can't wait to see Jones game when he returns. Maglorie has shown a blunt force in his cameo appearances and Spo starting Anthony in the middle has helped balance things out.
Is there any way Blount can be sent back to the CBA where he originally came from before Boston signed him to that horrendous contract?

i love wade and he is performing incredibly this season, not to mention being clutch every single night but there is one thing i just gotta say, something i didn't believe for awhile until i saw it happen at least 3 times in the 4th quarter last night: Wade gets the benefit of the doubt with some phantom foul calls man. the refs love him.

for example, that last rebound that wade went up for, he got a foul called on boone when wade CLEARLY went over the back and landed on his head. not saying wade ain't a beast, cuz i love him and he's the best player in the league right now, but he gets some VERY questionable calls. think about it and you'll agree.

all we need is a center and this team is a true contender

You may have a point but I don't agree! The play you mention was not Wades foul! Boone backed under wade, UNDERCUTTING! Had he stood his ground, you would have a case for a Wade foul! I had 3 ribs broken on a similar play many years ago!

Excellent point, Old Pro. The replay showed that Wade was already moving to his left and Boone just had to step over to his own right trying to get the charge and it didn't work.

Yeah, we got the benefit on the great block by Okafor on Haslem. Okafor was called for the foul, but hey, most of the time we are the ones getting the raw end of the deal.

Let me tell you one thing. This was not a game for the meek. There was bloodletting, there were bumps and bruises and there was no letup. Both teams played their guts out.

Great game!

the refs are gonna miss calls, but wade clearly grabbed the rebound, dudley prevented him from landing on his feet or on his back;so FOUL.
