Lakers will win because a team and franchise like the Cavs does not deserve to have the best record in the nba.

Lakers will win because they are a better team and all the anger the cavs have will bring them down. Not that they don't deserve it but that were better.

Boost the Cavs' status? It can't get much higher. They're an elite team in the same class as LA and Boston, no matter the outcome of today's game.

The Lakers are coming off of a big win against the Celtics and have a great deal of confidence, even without Bynum. So, I believe the Lakers can pull off a win against the Cavs as well but as a Laker fan, I also think we should give the Cavs more credit. Let's not forget that they are currently the only team in the NBA with an undefeated home record.

The Lakers don't have to win this one to prove anything. However, Kobe loves the role of assasin. Look for the lakers to make a statement. I feel bad for LBJ. He doesn't have the cast or bench to keep up. He will have to guard Kobe the whole game and will get tired. LBJ is young, inexperienced and lacks a supporting cast. If this game is close, we know who the best closer in the game is... KOBE... Lakers by 7-10 points.

It's nice to dream in life. Kobe is not ready to pass the torch to LBJ. However, when Kobe decides to relinquish, it will be passed to Lebron. If this game is close, Lebron will choke.

no supporting cast? try one of the deepest benches in the league when they're healthy. good role players who know their role plus Mo and the King = Cavs over Lakers in 6 in Finals.

Kobe needs this win if he is going to challenge LeBron for the MVP because James is clearly ahead as of right now.
