Congrats Boston!!!! Where is all the naysayers???? Hey I guess if Atlanta sent the celts to 7 games I guess the best league is the eastern conference. And how about James Posey now. Riley bad mouthed the man and didnt want to resign him how many close games could we have won with him being an clutch player for Miami this year???

This guy was flat and that guy was flat, yeah right.
The energy level was so high for the celtics it could've blown the roof off.
There wasn't a chance in hell the Lakers could beat them.
Even the previous game in LA the Lakers weren't but a steal away from a loss and they played thier best game.
The Celtics had a solid group of veterans on the floor and on the bench with a young spark plug named Rondo. The Lakers never should a chance in Hell.

I was a Boston Celtics fan before the Heat became a franchise. I question myself now if I should have ever left. I tell you this Heat championship or no Championship , if I would have known back then that Riley was gonna come on board 8 years down the road I would have shunned the Heat completely. I am immensely happy for the Celtics and I am also happy that the East has finally captured that trophy back from the hated West. But it's too late to go back to the Celtics and I ain't NO frontrunner. GO HEAT!!! It wouldn't bother me in the least if Riley decided to go back to LA and "rescue" <snicker> the Lakers.

The Miami Beat, Not only do you losers help the Patriots win by giving them players. Your basketball team does the same thing,Posey, House, pj brown all kicked off the lousy Heat.

I hope all the bs about Kobe the next Jordan is put to rest.
.
.
and yes.. Riley screw-up big time by letting Posey and Kapono go, opposing teams double team Shaq all the time 'cause they knew Miami had no shooters.

shooters made us winners:

Glen Rice
Damon Jones
Posey
Kapono
House

you can't win without shooters!
Heat won't win it with Rose
Heat won't win it with Mayo
they need Beasley
they need Mike Miller

Wade was a great shooter '06 series
he was hot--but he has not been since

they have been a solid TEAM all year, and are deserving of all the hype. Way to go Celtics, I am wearing my Rondo t-shirt now, Rondo we notice your love and spirit for the game.
See you at the parade.

The Celts represent the 'blue collar' workers. They go to work every day and grind it out, while the LA Fakers represent the 'champagne crowd'. Lots of talk about success, but couldn't drive a nail into a marshmallow.

Another example of an empty championship. You can't just buy a championship, it means nothing, you have to work hard and get it going, instead you grab big name stars cause your buddy (McHale) did you a favor. And when you have 2-3 big names then other players sign only because of them, not because of you. Stars bring leeches, those who want to tag along for a championship but skip the hard work. Too bad we all know what happens after you have an empty championship season, they all split for $$$. First the big bucks then the championship or the reverse, NEVER together. No loyalty in basketball.

A case of another Jet fan jealous of other cities winning championships instead of the stinkin Jets, Mets and Knicks. He is trying to turn a non-Miami story into and anti-Miami story. What a doosh.

The late Dennis Johnson, Kevin McHale, but this series was boring, lacked any spark like those games...
