The Lakers are lucky to have Farmar. He could start at point guard on most teams in the league.

I hope Farmar has a long career with the Lakers. Excellent basketball intelligence.

Whenever Fisher finally retires--and I hope that isn't anytime soon; he's one of my favorite players in the entire NBA--but when he does, Farmar will make a great starting point guard for the Lakers.

Farmar did a good job running the triangle offense last year. This year, he seemed to have forgotten how to run the offense and focused mostly on his own offense. If he would play the system the Lakers are relying on and let his shots come to him, he would have much better results. He and all the Lakers need to get back to working on defense, rather than just relying on their offense, which can be up one day and down the next. Somehow they have consistently left the person they were supposed to guard and allow wide open shots over and over. What are the couches doing about that?
