It's about time that Phil came to his senses to not mess up a good thing...Lamar is a power forward, plain and simple...you don't want to mess up his rebounding and scoring "around the basket!" Gasol is not only a good scorer but a terrific passer in the paint, and Vlad Radmonovic is a good shooter to make defenses play honest...Bynum is good off of the bench for right now...he has not shown that he is ready to be the monster that he was last year, and Ariza brings athleticism...all said, once Kobe gets his legs back, this should be an exciting team again!

Trevor Ariza is a much better player. He know's how to penetrate offense's defense. Makes great combination's. Ariza's strealth will carry the Lakers to a much better needed season.

I can not believe Phil would consider starting Rad., good offensive player when he is on but a defensive liability, he needs to come off the bench and pop those 3's from the corner with the 2nd team which will open up the driving lanes forJordan Farmar.

I like Odom coming off the bench. We have so much depth right now but that's only an advantage if all the players accept their roles as LO is doing right now. Ginobili does it for San Antonio and the results are great. LO could end up with the 6th man award if this works plus it means we can make use of some of the young guys like Ariza. Remember the Pistons had to trade AD for a more versitile and reasonable MArk Aguirre, that lead to more minutes for Rodman.
