with the bulls, seems we all have lost years. take Viktor's lead and bail on this franchise. its not the players, its the organization.

This belongs more on Skiles' head, but if Paxson wasn't going to insist that Khryapa (and Tyrus, for that matter) played, then he shouldn't have made this trade.
Paxson remains a joke. Screw this team. |

Can Paxson buy himself out? I'd rather have Khryapa than Paxson...

Why don't they by little Ben Wallace's contract out? Give me Khryapa over that dead beat. They need a Coach that can play the right players. And Pax can go too!! May be last year I have season tickets, unless they get a clue!!

The Bulls never know what they have. LaMarcus Aldridge sure would look good in a Bulls uniform right now. Same with Tyson Chandler. How about Brad Miller and Ron Artest? Elton Brand, too. Jamal Crawford is a tall Ben Gordon. He'd sure help right now. Something tells me Viktor Khryapa will resurface in the NBA in two years and become a very valuable sixth man for some championship contender.

Why do the Bulls acquire a player only to refuse to play him? Khryapa got a few minutes. Tim Thomas got none, but looked pretty good in the playoffs for another team last year. There may be some hidden gem of sound business management here, but it totally escapes me.

Sounds like Knick stunt to me. Shame on Pax

The Bulls have made very poor personel decisions for many years now and is definetly starting to show. Talent evaluation is NOT A STRONG SUIT FOR PAX. CAN HIM.

why is everybody b*tching about victor whogivesakrapya. It's not the organizations fault they are this bad right now. How can you say its the organizations fault when these same bulls had showed promise and improvement every year but this year. Everyone was picking the bulls to be one of the top teams in the east. Maybe, just maybe, its the players fault, people like deng, gordon, wallace, heck the whole team. You all are idiots if you say the wallace signing was a bad one. He was coming off a defensive player of the year award, and the bulls got man handled by shaq the previous year in the playoffs, so they went out and got the best low post defensive presence at the time. It is wallace's fault not paxons that he plays with less effort and tenacity than he did with the pistons. And to all those people that say its paxons fault for holding on to him, its not that easy to get rid of a guy making as much as he does and has two years left on his contract. Would you really want him right now? And how was he supposed to know that hinrich would start slow, and gordon/deng wouldnt improve! You all are lying to yourself if you said that you predicted that. This is a so called players league and it is certain players who have let us done.
And for those who wander why they didnt get gasol. its because the contracts couldnt match up and the grizzlies GM even said they could get quality guys in return for a price money wise, or dump salary and get draft picks/ FA. So quit complaining there. We made an effort to get him, the Grizzlies simply wanted to go a different route in what they wanted in return. Get off of the organizations back and quit whining. It's one bad year and we still might get into the playoffs. Yes, it is a dissapointment if we get the 7th or 8th spot, but that's still better than more than half the leauge, and who knows what could happen, look at Golden State. Let's give Pax the summer and next year to see what he can do. Until then, just be a fan and root for your team to win, because i honestly think some people on here would rather see the bulls lose so they can b*tch about them. |
||||
you wanna know why we complain? some of us actually have gone more than once to the United Center this year and see the players up front and their lazy, non-cooperative attitudes and a bad coach who lets players (Smith) go off on a stationary bike during the game away from the bench and forgets to rotate him back in. A bad coach who puts Gray out there for 3 and a half minutes and then forgets about him again. All parts of the organization needs pointing fingers- all a bad mix, top down. So, stay in Indiana, watch 'em on tv and waste your time trying to get them to an 8th seed that serves little purpose. |

Larry,
First of all, Indiana is the state right next to Illinois and in some places its only an hour and half drive to Chicago, so it is possible to go to a couple of games. Dont assume that I haven't just because I'm from a different state. I've been to five games and have seen the good bulls play, and the bulls you described play. Did you read anything before the last part of my post? I agreed with you, the players are lazy, and we have an interim coach that is in over his head. The main point I was trying to make is that the players deserve the majority of the blame, and that all of this fire paxon, get rid of reinsdorf (although i dont like him) talk is kind of rediculous for a GM and management team that is going through their first struggling season in 4 years. Do you atleast agree with that? And about the playoffs and the seed. What would you rather have? The bulls be out of the playoffs and have somewhere around the 13th/14th pick in the draft, or have them make the playoffs and have a chance (albeit very, very, slim) to do something good. Heck just the playoff experience for the younger guys like noah, thomas, selflosha would be good. Anybody who would rather see their team not make the playoffs is not a true fan. |

To say the orginization is not to blame is just foolish. Just look at the makeup of the team and it is easy to see why they are struggling! Paxson has no clue of how to build a team and it is really showing now as he has assembled way to much redundant talent! His backcourt consists of soft combo guards and his front court consists of offensively challenged undersized bigs. Yet despite a poor team assembly Paxson finds it best to stick with it??? IDIOT!
Do you realize that the bulls earned 100 million last year and were the number 1 team in the nba for earnings. And what do they do they raise ticket prices and refuse to go over the salary cap to get Pau or Garnett or even Kobe! Boycott these greedy Tards. The team is boring and plays with no heart why would you want to go anyway? |
||||
|
The makeup of the team looked good the past three years. Can you honestly say that you expected them to get worse this year? How is that Paxon's fault? When he did try to go out and get Gasol, the Grizzlies wanted a different package in return, opting for salaries to dump. The truth is there are not very many offensively gifted big men out there. The majority of the teams in the league are looking for an inside scorer, And he was going to get rid of deng, but kobe was the one who wouldnt ok the trade unless deng was there.
I agree the players are underachieving, but is that a reason to fire paxon. Give him the summer and next year to see how he reacts to the disappointing players this season |
