What?????????? Why would the Bulls give up a promising young player of J.R. Smith's caliber to get older on the way out guys? Looks like they are betting the farm on next season.

The Bulls have many young developing players. They need experienced players. You wouldn't go to war with a bunch of Privates and Corporals. You have got to have a few Generals

Yea I gotta agree. The Bulls have plenty of young talent, but they need some veteran presence. Griffin gives you so much more than his stat line. He's one of those guys that does the little things in games, that don't show up in the box score but help you win games. I like the move. Griffin is a good defender and will have a positive impact on the team.

It looks like this trade will be good for both teams. Denver DESPERATELY needs Smith to play well and live up to his potential.
