It makes me sick that the Heels have had such a good year, and now we get down to the wire and look what happens.

I can only hope Duke wins their game, not when they're playing the Heels, of course, but I have to root for a NC team when possible.(sigh)

I'm looking forward to March Madness "IF" Lawson can play. If he can't it's gonna be "iffy".

Okay losers, let's hear all the excuses. Lawson's out..."Punks"brough got some bad calls...Green struggled...That's why the call it a basketball TEAM. It's a real #1 team, huh? HaHaHa!!! One might also think that a player of the year??? might be able to play through a little pain...

I'm like you, LB. I pull for anyone in NC and then anyone in the ACC, unless they're playing Duke (or in your case, playing Carolina).

Good call on the Duke game, BTW!.....:)

I am a Carolina fan through and through; however, I'm not going to sit and make excuses, we lost ... it is a ballgame, someone has to win, someone has to lose! Of course I wanted them to win, but the loss will not affect them in the NCAA tournament.

And anyone with half a mind knows the NCAA tournament in the end is more important than a conference tournament, so why would ANY team risk further injury, no matter how small, to one of their teams main players? The answer, very few, if any.

Well Keith old boy, the numbers tell the tale in this game today don't they?? I'm guessing you will watch more NASCAR than NCAA tomorrow now that your beloved Tar Heels are done. Never has there been a more biased reporter (I use the term loosely) than Keith Jarrett. This could be the reason he can't graduate from the Asheville Citizen to a larger publication, like qualified people in his profession.

Oh yeah, not only is his biased, but he's a bandwagon reporter, which is the worst kind. He had his man-crush on Appalachian football and rode on that wagon until they lost (he never covered them until they started winning). Now he's on the UNC bandwagon, which team's next Jarrett?

UNC will be back with Lawson. No doubt in my mind about that. I believe he will play. But the length UNC will go is my question. I am not a UNC or Duke fan. im a KU Fan. And to be honest with you guys. Depending on how the brackets go, i may not have UNC in the final 4. One thing has to change. This team just doesnt want to play defense, Kansas ripped apart their defense last season. UNC will have serious problems against great teams like Pitt, Memphis, UCONN, and Louisville in the tournament because of their lack of defensive play. We will see though, not denying UNC is a great ball club though.
