Be smart. Tanketh the rest of yon season. Banish those that worship thuggery. Rebuild that which hath been brought low. This the son of Odin commands.

P-P-P-layoffs?! Are you kidding me - playoffs? Why bother? Put it in cruise, tank the rest of the season, keep the pick away from Atlanta and get a lottery pick. I'd love to see Connely, Jr. running the point. Or might even get real lucky and get a shot at Oden or Durant.

Hopefully the Pacers will be too busy trying to stay out late, visit the show clubs and get into altercations with gun-toting low lifes that they won't have to worry about the next four games.

Sure, try to win now. Haha. That's comical.

Give up, get drunk, shoot at people, assult people and smoke your weed. It's what you do best after all.

It would take a miracle for the Pacers to not only make the playoffs but beat the Pistons (who I assume are the number one seed, with the Pacers playing so poorly I've hardly noticed). I hate to cheer against the team but with a top 10 pick on the line and the current group of players completely unreliable you almost have to. They need to build around Granger (and O'Neal if they can't trade him). Fans in Indiana love the Pacers and they deserve better. It's a shame to have the Colts' great run tarnished by the fact that the Pacers are playing their worst basketball since the mid-1980s. They've made the playoffs 16 out of the last 17 seasons and have never been this embarrassing, even the year they missed the playoffs (39-43). I knew the post-Reggie era would be tough, but this is pathetic. It's amazing to think that the team's best season ever was just three years ago.

The lottery will be fixed so that the Pacers can draft the home town boy, Oden, the same way it was for Cleveland and Lebron. All the Pacers have to do is not mess it up by making the playoffs.

it figures these idiots will probably end up winning these last 4 games and getting a worthless 8 seed only to get wiped out by the pistons. when i actually root for these idiots to lose, they always end up winning when it doesnt matter. the worst thing that could happen is these losers winning out and making the playoffs, losing out on any lottery pick, and having to give up the first round pick anyway, but of course since i will be watching these games hoping they lose for once, they will end up winning and pissing me off even more. screw this entire team. im on the chicago bulls bandwagon now with the rest of northern indiana until this pathetic franchise moves out of state. once they move out of state then the bulls will actually be able to be shown on tv here instead of the stupid nba restriction laws preventing it because of the worthless pacers.

The Pacers only get to keep the pick if they finish as one of the 10 worst teams.(AKA the Lottery Teams). The Pacers are currently the 12th worst team.

I think you are dead on here...anyone who wishes the Pacers to make the playoffs this year are fools and aren't thinking ahead. The only way this team will get any better is to draft some top 10 talent and build around JO and Granger. If we don't get this, the only way out I see is to trade some big time players to get something in return.

Push? Don't you mean squeeze?
Then they can flush and leave town. End of the season means 12 less guns on the street.

i think some of the comments made are very bogus if you are a true fan you stand by your team and not be wishy washy. I have to admit I do not watch them like I use to but we still need to be true fans and support them so positive changes will take place The Colts finally got what they deserved and I feel that someday the Pacers will be there too. It just depends on how well management, the owners, the players and yes the fans want it !!! I am not giving up on our Indiana Pacers I will be praying for them!!! it is not just them the whole NBA has changed!! If the NBA commissioner who I can not stand!! would have let Ron Artest play after being suspended for almost the entire season I feel the Pacers would have had a Championship!!! they were darn good!!! they made the Pistons look bad by beating them by 15 points that night!!! yes Ron was wrong but let us be honest what would you have done?
