For a long time i had given up on ever having a good pacers team again. the team this year has restored my faith. for awhile the pacers were refered to as the thugs of the midwest, but this year it seems all that has changed. i recently attended a game for the first time in several years and was impressed by the teams focus, good sportmanship, and their respect for the fans. keep up the good work gentlemen. being a winner is not just about points scored.

Well you are certainly right about he Pacer not being the thugs of the mid west anymore now that they are going to get rid of Tinsley and have gotten rid of Stephen "Just Shoot Me" Jackson, and Shawnie Williams. But as much as I hate to say it, I honestly don't think the Pacers can do much better this season since Dunleavy isn't coming back till next month, they could be planning on buying out Jamaal Tinsely's contract (personally I think David Stern should make the Mavs either take Tinsley off our hands or give us a first round draft pick since Eddie Jones screwed us over on the Shawnie Williams trade) and they lack star talent behind Danny Granger. But either way that still doesn't mean the Pacers can turn it around next season when they have allot of over priced free agents and could be highly under the sallery cap if they can buy out Tinsley's contract or trade him this season and play their cards right.

Now it also seems that the Pistons with the additions of AI and Kwamie Brown are turning into the thugs of the midwest and quite possibly the old Pacers who went to strip clubs on 38th street for freshman high school honeys.

But either way I will agree with you on one thing, the Pacers have gained mine, yours and the rest of their fans respect back.
