I like his enthusiasm, but I think most people are taking the "wait and see" approach with the Pacers.Sparkplug, I see you are trying to fire on eight plugs, isn't doing you much good though, when there are two loose wires disconnected.
We have a new coach who brings a new style of play, but the core of players is still the same.
People are saying "show me" before they go back to the fieldhouse. They've been "burned" by this group before.
I think it's pretty simple. Show some consistent effort and desire out there and people will come back.
I don't care if you miss an open shot, but someone (other than Foster) dive for a loose ball and show that you care and that's when people will start caring again.
Remember the season when Artest, JO, and Jackson got suspended? Ok, that's a dumb question, we all remember that.
That was the year when they made the playoffs playing Reggie and a bunch of backups who left their hearts out there every night. The crowd really rallied around that team and even with the suspensions it was fun being a Pacers fan.
So Pacers, it's really simple:
Actions speak louder than words, show me!
