cassell wanted too much money and he's 2 old, spree is WAY too old even tho he could've been a 6th man for us,and even tho McHale hasnt made great decisions, hes still a better gm than isiah, ainge, and king

please - can we stop with the mchale bashing? yeah, a lot of what he has done smells, but... randy foye and craig smith are contributing very good things to this team (and with not huge minutes). the other night they combined for a triple double. i haven't checked, but wouldn't be surprised if they are the most productive nba tandem that any team has played this year. ask thomas and sefelosha and the bulls about that one. mark blount is, weirdly, the best center (easy!) that we've ever had - and don't forget that in getting him, we got rid of olowokandi! wally surely isn't setting boston on fire, and while we sometimes hate "selfish" ricky davis - he's leading this team in assists. weren't we all expecting a bit more from mike james this year? you wanna blame his lackluster play on mchale? yes, josh howard should have been our pick instead of ebi, but we just flamed out spectacularly on that one. other teams blew that pick as well opting instead for (are you ready for this pantheon of greats?) milicic to det, sweetney to ny, hayes to wash, pietrus to gs, collison to sea, banks to memp, gaines to orl, bell to bost, cabarkapa to phoe, pavlovic to utah, planinic to nj, outlaw to port, and cook to la. this studly crew, all picked before josh howard, have averaged 5.4 pts and 2.5 rebs in their illustrious nba careers. so can we please just stop with josh howard already? of course we messed up. so did almost everybody else.

Yeah, I have always said Mchale shouldn't get as much bashing as he gets, but he does deserve some. Drafting Ndudi Ebi over Josh Howard was one dumb move, but I'm still tryin to forget things. And ya know, I will never blame all of the things that go wrong with the wolves on Mchale, nor will I blame that goes well with the wolves on Mchale, because I don't think he could do anything if the entire rest of the franchise is agreeing with him. He is not just sayin "Ok, we're gonna draft Ndudi Ebi." & people don't just go "OK" without doin some research on the guy. And obviously, the rest of the franchise decided to agree, because I don't think Mchale is some nazi who just disregards everyone else's opinion on things. Blame the franchise. Not Mchale. It is the franchises management that caused this, the blame does not rest on one person's shoulders when it comes to executive decisions. It is the franchise's fault. Period.
