Yes Sirrrr!!! we did and I'm so glad we did? with no disrepect for Trevor Ariza it's apparent that we really did need a Monster/Beast to do the dirty work? and he can guard the Bigger Forwards as well? where as TA could'nt with out being pushed around? So I say GO LAKERS!!! And thanks to Mitch & Dr. Buss for not waiting to long to get a quality player like Ron Artest!!! We got next!!!

This was a good pick up by the Lakers. Artest has proven he is in it to win and for the most part has control any negative behavior. He'll fit right in and came to us at a bargain price.
As for Ariza, shame on u and ur agent. U were offered exactly the same amount u'll be getting in Houston, yet ur agent got all upset by the initial offer the Lakers offered so he pouted. If he had been more mature, this would be an article about Ariza resigning with the Lakers. This isn't the first time an agent thought he was being smart and ended up blowing it for his client.
Ariza will not be the player he was with the Lakers because of the lack of supporting cast. He's an average player who had a good run.
I'm sorry, but you're wrong. I just listened to an interview Ariza did on 570 AM and he said was NEVER offered anything. There were no negotiations between him, his agent, and the Lakers. The Lakers didn't offer him anything because they didn't even have to go after Artest. He kept showing up around the Lakers, even in the locker room, begging to be on the team. This is a collossal mistake and around February the Lakers will not be happy with this "player." Ariza is a thug and not very bright, forget about any class, and he will not fit in to the Lakers offense. He may be a defensive guy (I think he's a thug) but he also wants his shots and he and Kobe will tangle. Kobe is used to having his own way and people giving up the ball to him. Ariza was a better fit and if it wasn't for him, the Lakers would have never won the championship. I can't believe the Lakers went this route and I believe they will be sorry. As for controlling his behavior, fat chance. Don't you remember the playoffs? He should have just ejected himself before the game and saved time. The Lakers blew it and for once, I hope they get what's coming to them and it won't be another championship.

Jen, I see alot of "I thinks" and "I believe/Hope" lines in your post. Suggestion Jen: Unless your commenting on the WNBA or dancing with the stars, desperate housewives etc, Go bake some Cookies or sort the laundry. Leave the Men's sports talk to Men...mmmkay?

Now hop along toots...

Hey, knuckle dragger...I've been a Laker fan for over 25 years, my husband used to work for them, so why don't you take your sexist comments somewhere else...I don't watch WNBA, dancing with the idiots or desperate housewives, and real men don't mind an intelligent woman discussing issues...a little bit insecure, are we? And if you were a decent guy, I would be baking the best chocolate chips you've ever had...but I assume you've never had a decent woman in your life. Why don't you address the issue not the person...and don't call me toots...you haven't earned that honor!

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Capricorn

Confusion reigns supreme today, especially when dealing with financial matters. You could get into a muddle when sorting out your accounts or when working out how much you owe someone, even though you may not notice this at the time. It certainly isn't the day for parting with large sums of money because the chances of something going wrong are very high.
