Right, Tiffany, it's because Larry got another DNP tonight, coupled with the fact that the other players who Paxson and Del Negro insist on playing don't finish at the rim any better than Mr. Hughes. Increasingly, as the season advance, we see Derrick Rose drive to the basket throw up a shot and have it bounce around, go off the backboard, or get blocked. I wish the other nimrods that post on here would wake up and realize that the same bogus criticisms they level against Hughes are even more applicable to their heros ...guys like Rose, Deng, Gordon, and the rest of the crew. There are no reliable closers on this team. There are guys with open looks who miss easy jump shots from the corner. The Bulls got only 80 stinking points tonight; they struggle to get to 100, and yet Hughes is on the bench. INsane. It is so tiring, and yet we hear these yappers yap about how bad Larry Hughes is. We also continue to see Gooden 20 feet away from the basket lofting jump shots when he is the only credible put-back and offensive rebound guy. I say get Larry off the bench and back out on the floor asap; otherwise Tiffany and I are going to sell our season tickets to the guy in Arizona.

Capt Kirk 2 for 9 didn't help. Rose 6 for 20 something? If Ben had done these numbers we would be hearing it....Big Time! Oh by the way it seems like the 2 people Ben were matched up against had nothing to do with the loss.

Tiffany, I think you are right; they are either going to trade him or release him. KC Johnson has said as much in his mailbag and stories of late. Sad thing about this, if true, is that Paxson doesn't realize that there are many fans who like us think Larry is not being used properly. And, for a team that struggles so mightily to score points, why they refuse to have guys on the floor like Larry who can light it up when he gets hot is just incredibly stupid.

for real.who brings it hard like larry, nobody.who can score from anywhere on the floor like larry, nobody.who aint scared of sh!t,and who can hold his own on the court like larry, nobody but larry.

so there you have it,larry is the life of the bulls

The Kapt. of Klank Hinrich played his typical game. At least Vinnie kept his minutes short. 2-9, no free throws because he is too slow to get to the rim, one assist and one rebound. What a leader!!!

Did you see Spurs blow by Hinrich, Klank forgot that he was a defensive expert...Maybe was too tired and winded like No-Shot Noah who continues to miss at point blank range.

Last year when the turmoil swirled around the Bulls, the Kapt of Klank did not say one word in Skiles' defense. He forgot that he was a leader.......

Pax can't trade this over priced lump. Klank should never leave the bench.

well vinny went back to his inconsistent playing time routine for tyrus and thabo tonight and it showed in the play of the team. the ball stopped moving, a lot of pounding the ball into the floor and very little movement.
i am waiting for the time when tyrus is finally moved and he breaks out as a great player (similar to the solid performances of chris duhon on the knicks).
consistent playing time is the most important ingredient in a player's ability to perform at a high level. vinny just can't seem to accept this and allow his younger players to simply play. ben gordon and drew gooden jack up
poor shots all the time, commit turnovers and constantly refuse to play consistent defense, but they are not pulled
from the game like tyrus and thabo are each time they might make a mistake. vinny forgets the good plays each makes. vinny needs to go. it is the system that places the forwards far out on the wings in order to spread the floor to allow derrick rose to drive to the basket. the big problem is that it keeps the bigs out of
position for the offensive boards that are so important
for the perimeter shooting bulls team. keep the young players on the floor and let them go to the basket at every opportunity. get vinny out of town!! take del harris with him!! and john paxson!! let tyrus, thabo and noah play with luol and rose. i am so tired of losing talented young players to other teams where they
blossom.

Whoever wants Larry Hughes to get playing time is clueless. The guy is a ballhog and he wants out of Chicago anyways.

hate to admit it but I think you are right. No consistent playing time for thomas or any of the big men except gooden. Instead of staying with a passing offense, the coach reverts back to a dribble drive offense, with rose and gordon taking all the shots. Get rid of the offense or get rid of the coach. Also, can Rose please play some defense? He consistently gives up more than he gives in points.

never get your hopes up about the Bulls, once they pull off something good like a winning streak, they P*ss up off again and again. Del Negro is over his head, we have some talent but Del Negro coaching is like a teen going through drivers ed test driving a ferrari..not the best analogy, had a few too many beers. My point is that we have the talent to make the playoffs but not the right coach and GM.

rose is a rookie for christs' sake! what rookie plays all-star defense? did you notice how parker and ginobli blew by hinrich and nocioni? by the way, where was hinrich and his great perimiter defense? what happened to his energy thats supposed to win games? why does he struggle against over .500 teams? i don't want to hear that he had an off night. he ain't getting paid to have off nights! he's getting paid as an all-star that he never was or ever will be. so let him ride the bench and free hughes from it!!!

what was with del negro's substitution of gordon and hinrich at the end of the game? every second, he was rotating them. seems a little bizarre....

The Bulls simply don't have the talent level nor the requisite overall basketball IQ to play at a high level and win consistently against the league's elite teams. Coaching also appears to be a problem because their offensive sets lack sophistication and spacing, resulting in disastrous and easily defensible one-on-one play and ending in terrible shot selection. This team needs to be gutted, scrapped and rebuilt with the exception of Derrick Rose. It should start at the top with the firing of GM John Paxson, who has proven to be gun-shy in making difference-making trades (see Boston GM Danny Ainge), a below-average personnel evaluator (Joakim Noah, Tyrus Thomas, Kirk Hinrich, Larry Hughes, coach Vinny Del Negro) unless its obvious (Derrick Rose) and appears willing to sit with the full backing of owner Jerry Reinsdorf and blindly hope that a rookie coach with no previous coaching experience can inspire a roster of selfish, ever-complaining malcontents to the playoffs and beyond. Paxson must go.

Another loss that can be pinned on that selfish BG and his continued horrible shooting and selfish play. another 20 pt night on his selfish average of 15 shot per game. 9-15. Man he sux. Capt Kirk back to form. He would've had more assist if anybody could finish on this team.
Like it was already posted, if BG were 6-21 or 2-9, we would hear about how BG hurts the team. Where are all the Kirk defenders who didn't get it when people said Kirk would return to form shortly??? Can we stop with the Hughes references please!!!! He is garbage and every team that has traded or let him go knows that.

Why anyone would pay top dollar to see this terrible product is beyond me. I have to believe that the 22,000 people that fill the United Center must be the most superficial and unknowledgeable fans in the league.I wonder if they think Michael Jordan is still on the team? Lucky John Paxson because those butts in the seats are the only things keeping him employed at this point.
