The Hard Truth

I'll say again, as I've said over and over: I like this team. But, having said that, I thought Rambis was supposedly a great defensive coach. I didn't see the game last night (no one did -- thanks, Twolves). But I can guess that San Antonio came back by shooting uncontested from the perimeter and beating the Wolves down court. Whatever it is, can't you sub in a few guys whose primary skill and focus is defense? Or is our scheme so bad that anyone can do a "slice and dice" on us? Or do our players stink? Or do our coaches? Inquiring minds want to know.

I'm beginning to have serious doubts about Rambis myself. You'd think he might have learned from the recent collapse at home vs. San Antonio. Nope. Same exact thing. The Spurs' backup coach (Popovich got ejected early) drew up a perfect play after a timeout and they got an easy dunk. Our guy? Let Ridnour dribble the shot clock down and heave up a lame 3. Just awful coaching down the stretch.

Lets summarize. We have BAD,really BAD third echalon point guards. They do not deserve to play in D league not to mention in the NBA. Telfair and Ridnour are so worthless as point guards it goes beyond unbelivable. They cost us so many games this season. Ridnour veteran point guard by our lead of 9 points few minutes to go takes 2 feet beyond 3 point line shot with 19 seconds left on the clock. He would NEVER ever play for me again. Telfair dont need to waste my words about him. No defense, no passing,no smart plays just BAD D-league type players. Next in the line is our space cadet W.Johnson, how somebody coming from great program like Syracuse can be so dumb. Sometimes I really think he is lost on the court. Next, KLove and MBeasley when it counts they are nowhere to be found especially MBeasley he just disappears, turnovers,no defense, dribbling to much, einfach horrible. KLove thanks for your rebounds but please start playing defense at least pretend, rebounds yeah but half of those would grab Darko anyway few times this season I saw you grabbing the rebound out of Darko's hand. I know stats look good but please try to guard your guy, I know you cant but at least bother him little bit. Next Darko, dude learn some other shot than left hook and demand the ball more from our moron point guards. Post inside don't set screens at 3 point lines get inside and bang with centers. Now, we have leading rebounder in the league and leading blocker in the league and yet we are probably the worst team in the NBA, one of the problems COACH. We have a clueless coach dont know anything, yeah we still young but please teach em something, motivate them do something or get out. It was frustrating to watch another game slipping away COACH. Nuff sayzzz.
