Spurs hold off Hornets, advance to West finals

Tony Parker swished a crucial jumper with 50 seconds on the clock. Manu Ginobili followed with four key free throws, essentially booking the San Antonio Spurs a date in the Western Conference finals.

right on. the spurs will continue their quest for a 5th championship in 10 years. sorry kobe, but you havent won anything without shaq and it will continue this year. i hate kobe and hope he dies. the only award i would ever give him is the the NBA's BCA(biggest crybaby award).

I know the truth... and that is... that the NBA Final 2008 will be a match between Detroit Pistons and L.A. Lakers.

For the average fan the Los Angeles Lakers won the first game against the San Antonio Spurs but for us gambler type fans it was the other way around because the Lakers were not able to cover the point spread of seven points nor did they score enough points to cover the over/under, guarantee the point spread will not be 7 for today’s game.
