This team wasn't built to win this season? why didnt they tell us that at the start of the season? What about next year-will they be built to win? What a pathetic franchise.

I think your dismay is justified given the Wolves a) hired a new GM, b) hired a new coach, and c) had four first round draft picks last year, but will still finish worse than they did a year ago.

When you have four first round draft picks, one of them should yield a star player. Instead, typical Wolves got nothing from any of them.

When you hire a new head coach, you should have a few more wins than you did a year ago. At this point, McHale did better and he supposedly had less talent last year.

Which all goes to show one gigantic thing - until Glen Taylor decides to stop being cheap and get himself a legit GM/Head Coach, nothing the Wolves do in any offseason will matter.

The Twins were moderately successful because they have a good coach. The Vikings are successful because they have a terrific owner. The Wolves need some one great in upper management, whether it is the owner, GM, or coach. They don't have that so we continue to struggle.

Timberwolves should just become a NBDL team. Cost less to run an NBDL team plus they'll average the same attendance.

Rumor has it that Wednesday is 'bring your kid to work' day, and the Pistons will start the players kids against the TWolves. With this news, the current line went up to the Pistons by 18.

Try not covering this team. Nobody cares about the NBA. Its not basketball anymore. The worst part is Davis Stern not only ruined the NBA he took credit for saving. He ruined college basketaball too.

Sadly, this is the worst professional sports team I have ever seen. I say "Sadly," because I like the guys and Glen's heart seems to be in the right place. But this team is completely disfunctional. And worse, it's destroying players. Personally, I place this all at Rambis' feet, though I could be wrong. Maybe he's been told to run this "Baby Phil" offense while Kahn adjusts the roster. But maybe he's just a stubborn guy who's trying to make his bones as a head coach, and we're looking at nothing more than Wittman.2.

All I know for sure is that I have never seen a team that grew less in the course of a season, both as a unit and individually (though I don't follow the Raiders or Lions closely). Here is my measure: I'd rather be the Nets than the Timberwolves right now. And if it wasn't that they're all so damn rich, I'd feel sorry for the players who have to waste their few years of high performance on this toilet of a team.

There is one bit of symmetry and balance to the fanbase and the team: this clown who writes in after every game saying, "just another day in loserville" is as unfunny and boring as the Twolves are uninteresting and dysfunctional.

He also told us this would be a running exciting team to watch. Why do you constantly defend failed Minnesota sports teams?. Go back to Gopherhole.com with the other utopians
