trade Hedo?, He's been our closer all year! We would just be creating another problem by doing that. Otis should have added some bigs before the trade deadline. You might be able to play the regular season without a true four, but the playoffs are a different story, it will come back to bite Otis and the team. unfortunatly the fans will also suffer, but we will be cheering for the Magic regardless because thats what fans should do. Go Magic.!

Kurt Thomas is looking pretty good right now - too bad he's in San Antonio

Yeah that was a combination of a former San Antonio GM helping San Antonio out and the fact that our next year's 1st round pick could not be used.

You're not going to outrebound everyone. Dwight is still a real MVP candidate. Check out the case this guy makes for him.

Rebounding? isnt that why we signed Foyal? Where is Augustine?

Gortat should be played 12-15 minutes along with Howard or Foyle, and he could easily pull down 4-5 rebounds per game. He's big bodied, and he has a good wingspan. Why not use the players you're paying rather than wasting away on the bench?

Reddick could have done better than Garrity Tuesday night. at least he would have made half the shots that Garrrity missed, and we would have kept the momentum and won the game. Garrity was terrible!

In short, this is outright resignation to the fact that the Magic won't go far this playoff season. Wait til next year is the message - We get it, Otis!

I think we should play J.J. or Carlos A. at power forward!

It's very scary that an article on Orlando's rebounding woes chooses to focus on a "rusty" Pat Garrity as if this is a solution and fails to even mention Gortat and Augustine. Where's the journalism? A little common sense from the coaching staff would be welcomed as well.

Cook's injury might also pressure doctors and coaches to rush Battie back into the lineup. Let's hope they don't do anything rash that isn't in Tony's long-term best interest as well as the team's.

Keep Turk, play him at the 2g, Shard at the 3, get a good PF, and Dwight at the center. Would love to have a pass first pg like Kidd or Paul, make sure you have some depth, but damn that looks like a pretty good starting 5.

Watch out next year! They go to the second round this year and its a crap shoot from there.

According to Otis, there wasn't a trade to be made. You don't make a trade just to make a trade especially when you're getting the bad end of the deal. Not doubt we needed another BIG, but it takes two to tango.

Otis signed Rashard Lewis and made the great move to get Mo Evans and Brian Cook for little used and frequently hurt Trevor Ariza. The only bad move IMO was to sign Jameer to a long contract at the beginning of the season. My biggest complaint with Otis is with his draft picks, but that might be our scouts....

I think Otis makes good decisions he just can't speak very well. He comes across as a bonehead but has been around the NBA a long time and I'm sure he didn't suck his way into his position.

Rebounding mostly is about effort. Sure we don't have the size. But I can go on and on about how many times I've seen the Magic not boxout the opponent and let the ball bounce on the floor only to let the other team get it. But then again Howard is the only guy who knows how to rebound consistently. I wish they'd make it a team effort, think about how many points were losing when we don't rebound. Rebounds lead to fast breaks and doesn't allow the defense to setup, so then the Magic can push the ball and score in transition.
