Pretty safe to say now, J.J. may have a sweet shot, but he lacks the tools to be a true NBA player.

I am already sick of Stan Van Gundy. He is a horrible coach..
My HS coach could do better. What a fraud. Please fire this guy and get someone in hear with a little self control. What a hog.. Pleas go away. Truth is that guy will never out-coach anyone.

Truth is, if you want to have a decent discussion about the Magic go to John Denton's blog in Florida Today! Schmitz just cannot cover this team and is so lame when he does.

Your examples of how Van Gundy is a horrible coach are amazing. I wish I had the attention to detail that you have. If he's such a horrible coach let's see you do a better job. Oh wait that's right. You're just another couch sitting, bon-bon eating tool who has nothing better to do than complain. Get a life....

Other than Bogans, I'm not sure about our bench... and I don't mean like they are bad, bad... but I think the Carlos/Keyon combination is far better anything we have right now.

Battie looks rusty and I'm not sure he should play center, he is better at PF spot. Cooks should have more playing time, his offense should help of the bench.

No, I have a job. I'm a civil engineer. I don't want to coch basketball, but I do watch the games. I don't need to point out what everybody else on this board already has. That lardass Van gundy might be your hero, probably becasue you are a fatty to and that's ok. But no, sorry, My grandma could run the same players out there ever game and win. He never drafted those players, so in finishing, his rotation is small minded, his plays are elementary kid crap, his post game new conferences are borderline stupid and his eating habbits do not reflect anything but gluttony. I am surprised that he can get the players to listen to him at all. He will not last long. He is another horrible hire and is extreemly
overpaid. He should be working HS basketball. And now for you two. I have a life, a good one. You should try getting out of the bathroom and make yourself useful. Their are lots of yards out the that needs their grass cut.

During the games of the present season I had noticed a lot of empty seats. Does this have any relation of Carlos Arroyo departure? My impression was that a lot of Ricans were at the games when CA was with the Magic. Can anyone make an attendance comparison of attendance before CA came to Orlando, after he came on board and after he left?

Back at the big red background on games... I'm one of those ex-season owner that decided not to renew. And yes I'm puertorrican (u better deal with it). And yes I know at least 10 other puertorrican that did not renew theirs season package.

I would not argue that the economy is not in the best shape, and many of us has to do sacrifice, however lets remind you guys how many puertorrican flags where there when we got Arroyo by a trade, and the big increase in season sales the very next season.

Now once Carlos is gone, you see again many empty seats. You do the math. I'm not saying that all season owners were puertorricans, but many of them were... and now I'm waiting for Mr. Smith (Otis) to fill those with Nelson fans...

Note: I was one of the few that were season owner BEFORE Arroyo came to Orlando.

If someone is interested... Arroyo's new team is playing in the Euroleague and he average 16pt 5ast 5rb. And for those thinking that he is not playing in the NBA, let me remind you that the current world champion is Spain (get your map and check where is located)
