jordan was rarely used at the end of games during the regular season during the championship years. only because they won handily 90% of the time. the best teams don't scramble at the end of games looking for a shot maker. the shot makers are usually relaxing on the bench at that time. jordan figured it out. play hard for 3 1/2 quarters, build a nice lead, coast for the last 3 or 4 minutes. these bulls can't figure it out. too much jealousy out there. thats why certain guys jack up shots. along with the coachs urging of certain guys that come off the bench to shoot before they see the white in the enemy eyes! take a look at nocioni. he had a decent game last night at tyrus' expense. but what happens for the next 4 or 5 games? i'll tell you. he'll jack up 15 shots in 15 minutes and miss an average of 10. no one will say a word about it. these are costly numbers. this is why we lose. you have to have a pecking order in shot taking. the best shooters shot first and then on down the list. you can't have your worst % shooting guys jacking up more shots. it demoralizes the team. thats when the other guys decide to shoot without notice. here is the order of shot taking. 1. deng 2. gooden 3. gordon 4. rose. all other guys should drive and kick out or wait for a kick out from one of the first four.

terry t must have a fuzzy memory of watching Michael Jordan. Jordan shot in the beginning of the game the middle of the game and when the game was in the balance MJ was shooting. The problem is that Rose needs to try dunking the ball on those drives and forcing the refs to blow the whistle. He is getting fouled relentlessly, and needs to finish stronger at the rim and not try to avoid the contact. Watch DWade and Iverson they get the calls.

well vinny went back to his inconsistent playing time routine for tyrus and thabo tonight and it showed in the play of the team. the ball stopped moving, a lot of pounding the ball into the floor and very little movement.
i am waiting for the time when tyrus is finally moved and he breaks out as a great player (similar to the solid performances of chris duhon on the knicks).
consistent playing time is the most important ingredient in a player's ability to perform at a high level. vinny just can't seem to accept this and allow his younger players to simply play. ben gordon and drew gooden jack up
poor shots all the time, commit turnovers and constantly refuse to play consistent defense, but they are not pulled
from the game like tyrus and thabo are each time they might make a mistake. vinny forgets the good plays each makes. vinny needs to go. it is the system that places the forwards far out on the wings in order to spread the floor to allow derrick rose to drive to the basket. the big problem is that it keeps the bigs out of
position for the offensive boards that are so important
for the perimeter shooting bulls team. keep the young players on the floor and let them go to the basket at every opportunity. get vinny out of town!! take del harris with him!! and john paxson!! let tyrus, thabo and noah play with luol and rose. i am so tired of losing talented young players to other teams where they
blossom.
Nearly everything I would have said myself. Thomas had 5 pts in the 1st quarter on 2-4 shooting before being pulled and never making it back into the rotation before halftime. 2nd half he gets a dunk and misses a couple of shots in the first 6 mins of the game and never plays again.

Vinny Del Negro is always ruining a good starting performance by him and in the end his 7 pts on no playing time make him look inconsistent.

A consistent 35 mpg would help his "inconsistent" stats and the Bulls could use his improved defense and passing.

tyrus has to sacrifice minutes for nocioni. can't you see. paxson and whoever the minion coach is, are all in with nocioni. remember, nocioni brings energy. you know, the stuff that you get from monster drinks and red bulls. that energy stuff wins games nowadays. so as you can see, regardless of how well tyrus plays, he has to ride the pines so that nocioni plays. no wonder the bulls lose so much!!!
