Good memo. I hope the Magic players read this, or know of the upcoming situation (playing a whole brutal month, and having to do it very good) some other way and are getting ready. Im as big a Magic fan as another, but I don't think they're focused enough to win these first few tough games, and then I think they'll get into it better and finish out the rest of December good. Ofc, I'd like for nothing more than to be proven wrong and Magic go undefeated in December!

If they will win 80% of their games in this West Coast Journey, then we can say that the Magic will be the team to watch this coming playoff in April 2009. But I still personally believed that they lack PF who can add muscles inside the paint. They can trade Jameer Nelson and Hedo Turkoglu to Portland for Jarryd Bayless and Ike Diogu. Orlando will get the needed muscles inside with future all-star point guard while Portland will get a steady point guard and a additional small forward who can shoot 3's to open up the lane for Aldridge and Oden.......

Good trade, it would completely wreck our team, but great trade. Remember, we have Dwight, if he plays great, we can win almost every game.

This is one heck of a tough stretch and I agree, it will expose our need for some more muscle down low. DH is great but he could use the help of another big.

Think I said this last year but it still applies: With one added physical PF this team goes from pretty good to pretty scary.

Tryus thomas in an orlando uniform anyone? if we're lucky the bulls haven't seen any footage of JJ since college and they'll gladly make a trade, job done!=)

No doubt, this will tell us where we rank as a team.

I'll tell you, everyone keeps saying we need another PF. I think Tony Battie has been exceptional this year coming off the bench. We didn't have him last year, so we already have one more big than we did last year.

I would love to see us go 8-4 the rest of December, but even if we go 6-6 during this tough stretch. we would still end the month at 21-11, ten games over .500.

We are a good road team, so let's win a couple here out West, starting tonight.

By the end of this month we will know if the Magic are a true contender or if they are a pretender. It is as simple as that. End of discussion.

i dont know why....people on this forum are against the MAGIC adding a PF. Tony Battie has done good but him and Gortat can just play back up like 10-12 minutes here and there. DH is good but he NEEDS the help to take them double/triple teams off of him plus his free throws.....lets not go there.

So what do we have for trade Hedo and Jameer......Jameer i wont mind losing but Hedo...he is the only one that moves the ball around and enjoys driving to the basket...instead of just shooting off those 3' we really dont have much to work with. Reddick can go but we wont get anything decent back (i mean you can propose dumb trades like Tyrus THomas for Reddick and Lebron for Reddick...but in the real world it wont work!
