About Last Night: Envisioning which current Detroit Pistons could be key players on a playoff team
Even Jared Dudley can't believe how many open looks he got. Since 2000-2001 was the last season that the Detroit Pistons missed the playoffs and also happened to be Joe Dumars' first season as GM, it's natural that that this year's team will draw some comparisons to the 00-01 squad.

I want to give Villanueva as much of a chance to succeed as he deserves but so far this season he hasn't done anything to show that he can be a key player on a playoff team.
He isn't a consistent scorer and his defense is weak to say the least. I do applaud him for at least making an effort, on some nights, to play defense but it's not up to par for Piston basketball.

I'm not even sure Cadillac is a starter let alone a key player on a playoff team.
