Turkoglu and Lewis might be the softest forward combo in the League.

I'd start Ariza, and bring Turk off the bench for outside shooting and scoring punch. This would add rebounding, energy, and toughness to the starting lineup, and would also add scoring prowess to the bench.

The main reason why the Magic can't beat the Pistons is that they are still soft, mentally and physically, particularly on defense. The Pistons raised their level of play, and the Magic couldn't keep up.

But despite how good the Pistons are, I have to say that it annoys me how Chauncey Billups continually gets away with initiating contact and having it called on the defender. Why does Billups get that treatment? It's not like he has the quickness (ala Dwyane Wade) to blow by a defender, where you can understand the ref giving him the benefit of the doubt. Billups just leans in and jumps right into his defender or leans his shoulder into the defender's chest, yet somehow the ref calls the foul on the defender. This happens too much in the NBA. I thought I heard they were going to address this issue this year by not calling fouls on the defense when the offensive player initiates contact.

Hey True Blue - Remember it was Howard that said he was going to "destroy" Detroit last night.
Shame that our Magic couldn't back up his words and we come away looking like a bunch of clowns.
Detroit owned us - again....And since we started the smack talk I don't blame Pistons fans for laughing at us.
Totally agree. If you talk trash u better back it up or you're gonna get this type of comments from Piston fans.

Remember like 5 years ago that we were up 3-1 to the Pistons and T-mac started talking trash and then we lost...The magic are a good team, but not good enough to beat Detroit or the Celtics in a 7 game series. We need a big man. we need a power forward like PJ brown and have Hedo come from the bench!

Man, sure looks like Grant Hill and Bright House BOTH made the right decision.

Maybe Bright House could arrange to get the Celtics' games ? Now THERE'S a team that's building !!

Some of you guys are really a trip.

Anybody here REALLY believe the Magic will be worse this year than last? No way they DON'T win 47-48 games this year if they stay healthy. NO, they are not as good as Detroit and Toronto and a few others. Miami is done.

But they are better than last year. At least a 5-6 Seed in the Playoffs. Some of you just like to be negative because, for some odd reason, it makes you feel cool.

Dwight did not do himself or his team any favors when asked about having lost 8 in a row to the Pistons prior to the game. He said something like "We want to destroy them." Next time Dwight, don't give them any extra incentive!

Webber is done. he has no legs, plus he still thinks he is the same player he was in his early years in Sacramento. Better to deal with what we have instead of wasting money on Webber.
