Wheres D Wright

Tayshaun Prince was definantely on the court. I saw him light of the box score for 34 points 12 rebounds but where was D-Wright.... No Dorell Wright he doesn't even deserve a nickname sounding anything remotely like D-Wade's. Tayshaun smoked his a.s.s That's probaly why I didn' t see him. He was burnt beyond recongnition.

I knew from the moment Shaq committed his first ticky tack foul early in the first quarter that he was ready to take his usual seat on the bench. Tayshaun Price had more rebounds than Shaq! Shaq look like hes in la la land out there..

You would think with D-Wade out Shaq would take it upon himself to carry this team but instead he is relying on newcomer Ricky Davis to come in and be D-Wade. Man, I hope this isn't an indication of what to expect this year.

I am so tired of losing sports teams in this city. Miami has no enthusiasm. Shaq is done, Mourning is 25% of what he used to be. Wade is this team, and unfortunately they will be lucky to be a .500 team this year with the tough East.

Let's face it, Shaq has outlived his usefullness and the Heat should look to trade him. It is painfully obvious why Jerry Buss sent him packing, just like he should send that ingrate, Kobe Bryant packing. Maybe the Heat should trade for Kobe too.

Why do role players need to help Shaq and Wade all the time. Those two get paid 35 milliion dollars. Put any two players in the league who get paid like that in Heat in place of Shaq and Wade, Heat have instant championship team. Even today, the other players played better than Pistons, except Shaq. Quit talking about Heat needing more help for Shaq and Wade. It's about time Shaq and Wade start helping the other 13 players. Get real. Think of any team, including San Antoni and Dallas, and take out their two best players with 35 million salary...they would be a trash. If San Anotoni has Duncan playing like Shaq and parker out...they would be horrible. Take a look at that squad without them two. There is no way to fix this thing except Shaq and Wade have to play like they get paid...because in NBA...they have hard CAP. You only have certain amount of money to spend.

you know why he is keep getting dumb fouls? It's because he is just standing around and reaching in and reacting too late because he is lazy. He is way too old. Any athlete has to work harder as they get older, but this guy is too arrogant to do that.

the other players get 30 million dollar all together and they put up 70 points 30 rebounds and 20 assists....while Shaq and Wade with 35 million dollars put out 9 points and 7 rebounds.....tell me where is the problem and who bears the responsibility and where it needs fixing. If wade and shaq can't be fixed, Heat cannot be fixed. It's simple as that because they they up 35 million dollars of salary. You can wish this and that. Traded for this and that...but the bottom line is if they don't get the dividends from that 35 million dollar a year investment, they are going to suck. That would be the case for any team. If they have 35 million dollars sitting out and putting up 9 points and 7 rebounds, how do you make that up? You just can't.

This guy just wants to be spoon fed all the time and wants plays run for him every time down the court. If he got some offensive rebounds and hit his free throws, he would still get a lot of points. And because they always run plays for him, every one else is just standing around.

People want to see Shaq dunk and do damage (like toss Billups about like a doll - that was entertaining). He sells tickets and is his own brand, so his draw makes up for his declining production. That said, the Heat went into panic mode in the 4th again (like almost all last season). They don't feed the ball inside to Shaq and try to hit the outside shot. We have no 'zone buster' on the team, a guy who can make teams pay by burying it consistantly from the outside. Maybe Chase needs to get a phone call.
Wright was outmatched the whole game vs. Prince and that spells trouble, as the East has several very talented 3's out there (Pierce, Butler, Smith, Lewis, Jefferson, Prince, Deng).

the math...there is nothing Heat can do...except get the refund on 35 million dollars a year investment. That is the make and break in NBA...your top players make the difference, as in Duncan/Parker....Ming/Grady... .Williams/Boozer....Nash/Stoud mire....Kidd/Carter.....Howard /Lewis...Garnett/Pierce....Tho se combinations produce 50 points/20 rebounds/15 assists every game compared to 10points and 7 rebounds Miami gets from its duo of Shaq/Wade...I would say Miami's role players of williams/davis/mourning/haslem /blount is better than most of these teams...So, the real problem that needs fixing is Shaq and Wade have to produce, there is no way of getting around that..because in NBA...Stars win and the number of stars you can have is limited by HARD CAP.

San Antoni for example has bowen who averages about 7 points and 4, rebounds per game starting,Oberto with 5 points and 3 rebounds per game, and washed up finley averaging 8 points a game starting with DUNCAN and PARKER (Granted, they have ginobili off the bench)....Is someone saying that is better than Haslem, Williams, Mourning, Blount, Davis supporting SHAQ and WADE? Their role players are not better than Heat role players, but their stars, Duncan and Parker, are producing much more than Shaq and Wade both on offense and defense...even when they are healthy...Wade is a liability at defense at shooting guard...every team that plays against Heat, the othe team's shooting guard or forward averages 30 to 80 points a game.

I was at the game (Longtime Detroit Fan Wasnt born here) Shaq looked bad, but they didnt lose because of him. They couldnt play defense, Tayshun Prince did what he wanted to do all night. Ricky Davis plays no defense or whoever was on him. With Wade they will be better, but they should bring Davis off the bench, cause he will be idle on the floor with Shaq and Wade.

DDD...good point...Detroit fans know something about basketball...and i am sure you know about Jordan defense you guys made up to try to defense him..hahaha....anyway, Davis coming off the bench might be a good idea...because Heat isn't going to run with Shaq on the court anyway. if they bring 20 million dollar center off the bench, they could run with williams, wade, davis, haslem, and whoever...I have been on the web all day knocking Wade and Shaq because it seems everyone keep saying they need this and that to support Shaq and Wade...but the truth of the matter is...Shaq and Wade has to start matching up against the other team's top players statistically, both offensively and defensively. 9 points and 7 rebounds out of top two would not make it for any team. Imagine San Anotio winning championship with 9 points total out of duncan and parker. Get the math? The sooner Shaq and wade start producing like superstars like they get paid for, the other players can fill their roles. This is not just an assessment of 1 game.

Shaq needs to be traded, he is the reason we lost the game. He is over paid. He is done he should retire to make room in the salary cap.
