Riley has enough titles, concerned only with keeping his paycheck intact. He must get more $$ from saving payroll than winning a championship.

Make the playoffs, lose in first round. Again.

I understand why the Heat aren't playing anyone, what I can figure out is why Detroit is playing their starting five? Exhibition people. Let's simmer down.

Get a grip - to expect any sort of precision at this time is pointless. True, they may lottery bound...but it's far too soon to throw in the towel. This is probably as close to evaluating the alley-ball being played on your nearest street corner. Trying to judge this rough collection of players playing against a Piston team with multiple years of experience of playing together makes for easy fodder.

I just want to see DWade with that same fire he had before, that's all, that's the only reason I watch the HEAT, DWade, when he sits on the bench I change the channel. Maybe Dorell Wright, he's fun to watch, but you know Riles won't give him a shot. And all this talk of new guys, yea, they'll keep the bench warm all year. Riles will play the old guys to death.

I don't think it is time to panic here. Even for Wright I don't think it is as bad as it sounds. Rebounds were not bad for SF and three blocks. I would expect his offensive production to pick up with the regulars playing more regularly. I really don't expect him to carry an offensive load at this point. If he can get say fifteen points a game with some consistency, and produce rebounds, provide blocks, with a twenty point effort every so often, he will be an improvement. I am not ready to panic on the kid just yet. Given Detroit had their all regulars but one, the outcome is not so discouraging really.

Marcus Slaughter better make the team over Wayne Simien. Hes way more athletic he can score, rebound and block shots. I really hope he makes the team. Same goes for Brian Chase...

I never thought I would see the day when the Heat has Butch Mcrae and Neon Bodeaux on the same team. I have been hearing a lot of noise coming from disgruntled fans and journalists, about the Heat. We have 2 of the best players in the entire league. We have a Championship players, and we have the best coach in the league. The Heat are going to be great this year, so just cool your jets. I give Riles another 2 years to bring back another Championship. If not, then we need to bring in Pete Bell to coach the team.

no the heat wont win this season they be lucky if they get divition tittle let alone conference but at least a conference is attainable (hardly) but possible. man the cavs got conference title. this is the east. i know it got better but not that much better.at least as i read on the article 2 players showed they can shoot. so they may go again to the playoffs even ifthey get knocked out in the first!!!
