clearly they have quit. what is he evaluating??????? he should be cleaning house. what is he waiting for? he'll have to get rid of these sorrrry losers by next year anyway. why not start before the trade deadline? shaq included.

wade is all they have. the rest are heartless and/or talentless.

get rid of them.

Wade should be called Flash in the pan. The fame and fortune got to his head and he's way too injury prone. They should just rest Shaq the rest of the year and hope to get Beasley in the draft to replace wade in 2 years.

And who would be dumb enough to trade for anyone on the HEAT (except for Wade, of course)? If you think they could move Shaq compare his contract to his production on the court.

FORGET ISIAH AND THE KNICKS AS THE MOST RIDICULOUS ........ TRY our man in the Armani suits, Mr. Riley. How does a team and a man like that get to be a team and a man like that. Of course, we know that the big fat baby that refused to work hard and train during the season was way overpaid and if you really look at his time here it has been the most overpaid athlete in a long time because that championship year was little to do with his doing on the court. Shaq was born with a big body to be a great athlete but his heart to keep himself in shape and in training and in proper improvement year after year was not there to match his big body. LITTLE HEART SHAQ.

And of course, now his body is damage and irreversibly broken and his psyche is wounded in many ways. But look at how that man spends his time if you review his expenses for his pets, the food he spends on his pets is more like the Bronx zoo than a regular pet loving guy.

FRANKLY, I AM NOT SURE THAT THE CHAMPIONSHIP YEAR THEY BOUGHT FOR $100 MILLION is worse the embarrassment and the misery and the fact that Riley took the team away from Van Gundy to wrest the glory from the poor guy.

SORDID IS THE SPORTS SCENE WE SEE HERE in this part of the world. This is more like Bob Loria brought his Montreal Expos and spread that label all over the teams in this city. Huizenga, Loria......... and what of the Heat now with their owner Micky Arison.

What a crappy sport basketball has proven here for this town with the exception of that one year and maybe one other year when Mourning was the all star center

It's what i have written before, Riley is not developing hte younger players. Does he really htink he can snooker people about Ricky Davis? Davis is not playing well even by his standards, and his prime value is now his expiring contract. So there is no read to play him. Riley should put start coaching and put Wirght out there to see if he can develop some confidence and be a keeper, and play Cook becasue he defintely is. And Riley should "fire" himself now as coach, as he clearly is not getting it done. Sorry Pat, I love ya, but it is time for a change.

Even if Riley considers himself the best coach they are not listening to what he is selling. He and most of them should go.

ARISON AND RILEY WAS SO CONCERNED WITH THE SALARY CAP AND SPENDING MONEY AND LET POSEY AND KOPONO GET AWAY .NOW THEY HAVE AN EMPTY ARENA AND A CRAPPY TEAM IT WILL TAKE YEARS BEFORE THEY ARE COMPETITVE AGAIN ....IF A BILLIONAIRE CAN'T AFFORD TO GIVE MIAMI A DECENT PRODUCT TO WATCH MAYBE HE SHOULD SELL THE TEAM...

Riley, hire some North Carolina University players, notably Hansborough and maybe then you would win some games..

this season is a wipeout..........

get ready for the draft and trade deadlines..

We are "snake bit"in So. Fla. How is it possible that the two most premier teams in all of this great country of ours could fall so far from grace? The Heat and The Dolphins have become so pethetic that we are the laughing stock of the entire sports world !
Personally,I am sick of hearing"wait til next year".

This team needs a major breath of fresh air. There is nothing Riley can do, his days of motivating these current NBA players are gone. His style of play is gone, This time needs to change the offensive and defensive style of play .
This team needs a new voice, a new style a new direction, period!

As long as Pat Riley (the man) and Riley's system is in place, we will not improve.

All of you people who only go to games when Miami is winning are not real fans. The real ones are the ones who attend and support their team every game no matter what. It was very easy to go out and buy a heat t-shirt while they were on their championship run but now what. Stop the criticizing especially of Wade. Whats going to end up happening is he is going to get fed up with the fan base and situation here and bolt when he gets the chance.

Last night looked like a high school team against the allstars of NBA!
That was sick to see the RAPPERS hitting on anything they threw up and the poor HEAT -- NOT!

I hear what you are saying, but you also need to be realistic. Wade plays a big part in all of this losing too. He is our best player, but that means he should also bear the most burden. Kobe and Lebron's teams were not this piss poor the last few years when they were not surrounded by top notch talent. Granted the way Riley has coached this team has a lot to do with it, but still admit Wade has fallen off a lot and his defense has never improved.
