Drew Gooden upbeat about return to Bulls

Call Drew Gooden an optimist. In one breath, the veteran big man talked excitedly about visiting a specialist Tuesday and getting "nothing but good news" about the abdominal and groin strains that have ... Full Story

Luol Deng failed to reach double figures for the first time in 15 games and played only 1:55 in the fourth quarter after shooting 1 of 7, because he overrated and was being guarded. Please package Deng and Hinrich and see what we can get for them.

It's probably in the Bulls best interest if Gooden remains on the injury list at this point. It's probably time that Thomas and Noah get all the minutes they can handle, and let's see if there's going to be a future with these two or not.

Although, there's absolutely no way possible, now that he was given the contract that he was given, but i'd have loved to have seen Luol Deng involved in the trade talks for Stoudemire, instead of the most likely player which would have to go, Tyrus Thomas. Granted T.T. is just now showing the signs that he can be a consistent force in this league; however, we have seen the best that Deng has to offer, and it's certainly not the star value that he's being paid for.

I wish Gooden a fast recovery but I believe the Bulls are a much better team without him. The reason being is simple, Tyrus Thomas plays with a lot more confidence and continues to thrive without having Gooden take up his minutes. Hopefully, Tyrus will get the minutes even when Gooden comes back healthy but this team is playing better without him.

"drew is back,at least now they have some help in the paint, cuz tyrus and joakim was'nt holding it down like they was suppose to."

You're seriously delusional... Tyrus and Noah have played tremendous. What exactly has Gooden provided the Bulls? In fact, the Bulls game against the Pistons(which I attended) Tyrus and Noah were two of the biggest contributors to lead the Bulls to a victory.

This is where Bulls' teams doctors need to come through in the clutch...
Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES does Gooden come back to the Bulls.
The Doctors need to have him do something where he lengthens his injury to the point that he's out for the season or something close or at least tell him he's still hurt and cant' come back...
This thing is starting to turn around now that the two Cleveland slugs (Hughes and Gooden) are nowhere near the playing floor.
All they need now is to trade or cut Gordon and this thing will steamroll.

For goodness sakes no more Gooden
