They should give steph spot minutes. Play him at garbage time, when there's like a minute and a half left in the game and the knicks are down by 20. Or let him play for the first and final minute of every quarter.

The knicks don't want to play "Starbury" becuase they don't want to win this year!! They want another high draft pic so they can build a future(common sence)becuase they do not have a first round pick in 2010!! Pay "Starbury" his money, let him walk & get another point guard to back up DOO-DOOhun!! And whosoever don't know it yet, DAVID LEE is a goner!!!!! make a trade with Sacramento and get Brad Miller, but will have to include Curry in the deal.... Make it happen DONNIE !!!

The knicks dont want to play Marbury because ITS TIME TO MOVE ON. It's great that finally there will be cap space, now lets build around these young players. There's a reason why the players don't like him. Lets get rid of all the distraction and finally just focus on basketball. Athough I liked Crawford the Knicks did the right thing by clearing cap space. They were going to be mediocre at best fighting for an 8th seed. They are rebuilding- finally thisis what they should have done years ago by keeping Ewing and letting his contract expire instead of trading him for Glen Rice which started the salary cap hell.

it's funny that everyone always omits the 10 year contract given to ALlen Houston (he washurt after two). too many big ego's involved for this to be resolved. D'Anton would have to admit that his ploy to embarass Steph into accepting a buyout was a foolish mistake. A rookie would not have accepted this treatment and he thought a veteran would? The KNicks will be sadly disppaointed in 2 years. The great D'anton has NO track record showing that his style can win in the playoffs. We went through this with Rick Pitino 20 years ago. Pressing and Running racks up regular season wins, then in the playoffs when it turned ingto a half -court game, the style is exposed.... same thing happened in Phoenix and this guy gets treated like the second coming of Pat Riley. NONE of their moves have been questioned...

waive marbury and have Obama take his spot in the roster. At least there'll be a baller on the team with class.

Wonderful, there is hope that the Knicks can come to a conclusion on the buyout of Marbury. Brilliant !!!!! Yet another player let go for ...... nothing in return. While the Knicks flounder in a sea of change 3 all star players and a player with great potential in Collins are being let go for what? For Tim Thomas? he is not in the long term rebuilding process. You give up Zach (25 pts. 10 rbs gm) Mardy Collins (getting time with the clippers and producing now, amazing what a little time on the court can do). You give up the most consistent Knick over the last few years in terms of scoring and even temperness for Harrington, a small forward who is taking minutes away from Chandler. I think the Knicks could have hired a 40 k a year accoutant and he could have done a better job than the 12 to 15 million that D'Antoni and Donny are getting, yet they are getting accolades in the press for making room for LEBRON. Whoopie Doo. Lebron has never said he would even leave the Cavs never mind playing for a Soap Opera in NY. Whats next? Get rid of Curry and get a new ball boy? That would be better than the last trades and at least you're getting someone who can contribute and grow with the team. Snakes alive Donnie what are you and D'an thinin? Are you just bored? Do you really think you guys should be getting paid at all? You are really going to look like bloomin idiots when Marbury plays at an all star level with the Magic. Give your salaries back go join the Peace Corps and do some real good for humanity. Who are you kiddin.....besides the dumb a** sportswriters and fans with ficklefaniotios. Dolan I await your email, I'm ready to take over the team, I'll coach, manage and even be a ball boy so you don't have to trade Curry, for 100K plus expenses.
