I have a great idea. Lets all stay home and watch out 52 inch hi-def tv and the heck with the stadium and its rip off products. If everyone was will to follow this plan we would be sitting in 35 dollar seats again by next year. I for one and say that i willnot be buying seats to any game. I will, however, be ready for my phone call from someone who doesnt want to waste the ticket they already bought but can not go to.

Apparently the author's historical perspective goes back no further than the 1990's. An athlete's character was rarely an issue before because until fairly recently athletes weren't being charged with murder, rape and felonious assault. There's a reason why things have gone to hell in pro sports and its the same reason that most things have gone to hell.

If the Giants were the #1 seed, that would be all they could beat.
