Jim Baumbach is a pathetic, jealous loser. Anyone who thinks that there is a correlation between Marbury leaving teams and them getting better doesn't know anything about basketball. The only superstar Marbury ever played with was Kevin Garnett, and he never had a problem with Marbury.
At least now that Marbury is leaving, these pathetic NY sportswriters (Isola, Beck, Hahn, Lupica, Baumbach, Berger, etc.) can find something else to write about. It won't be long before some (or all) of them will be exposed for the talentless hacks they really are.

Marbury is a loser. Every team gets better once he leaves. He brings locker rooms down. Good riddance!

No. You're a pathetic loser. Read Mike Vaccaro's column in the New York Post.

Good riddance to bad trash. Marbury is nothing but a selfish troublemaker who's poison on every team he's played on. Let him go somewhere else & be their problem. If he wasn't so talented making all this money, he'd be a bum on the streets of Coney Island. Don;t let the door hit you on the way out Starbury you loser.

Marbury always wanted to be the man no matter what team he was on. That's why he demanded a trade from Minny when Garnett was there. Where were you, Clyde, when he went AWOL last year when he wouldn't be a starter? Whatever. Follow your overrated ball hog to Boston. He'll be complaining about minutes before the season's over.

No, but Marbury had a problem with him - and his bigger contract. Face it, the guy's been in the league 10 years and been on several teams. For whatever reason(s), they all improved when he left. Circumstantial evidence - but evidence nonetheless.

Baumbach is a simpleton if he truly believes this unoriginal, specious argument that omits injured teammates and key players that arrived after Steph's departure.

Congrats on winning the slam dunk title, too bad you weren't around when I WAS BREAKING BACKBOARDS.
