Lots of people get away with things...you see it every day. Don't believe, read the newspaper 2-3 times a week. You'll see 10's to 100's who say "released based on time served" "reduced sentence" "community service instead of jail based on plea"...it's just how the system works. The headlines just make it worse because we assume that everyone else is getting screwed while millionaires walk around free.

J-E-A-L-U-S is all I can say about you hater. Everybody wants to get on a stars case when they think he did something appropriate. I am usaully against regular people having guns but this story makes me think some people do need gun. Celebrities, athletes need them for protection. The police can't be everywhere.
You can't spell. You can't put complete sentences together. You obviously can't think through an issue competently. You seem to have no common sense. My advice is make NO comment!

yes we need a shooter ,a distributer , and an enforcer....wait a minute , we got rid of those guys these past few years!!!!! & the sad part is that from much of what I'm seeing , thats about the norm in any city, 90 % these top notch players in the NBA came from inner city dwellings & rough times & when a City/Team decides its time to clean up its image in this way it results in "CLEANING HOUSE"..& STARTING OVER...so keep on cleaning Donnie & clean the legend while your at it

A $5,000.00 fine to him is like a $1.00 fine to the rest of us. Hello- could he not receive a more punitive fine. And who of us really believes he will give 100 hours of community service to the Crane House? If he does, I hope he has to do some really difficult manual labor and know what it is like for the not so priviledged folks.
BUT OF COURSE

The carrying of fire arms by this segment of the community is a fashionable one to them. By letting Mr. Jackson off with a slap of the hand will no doubt send the message to the rest of the gun toting clubbers to continue with no regard to real penalty to breaking the law. God help our police force!
"By this segment of the community"; definitely a 'racist' remark and please don't use "God" in the same paragraph as the rest of your comments because loves and died for all people...including "this segment".
The word of God says we are to pray for those who do wrong, not tare down the entire race because of one individuals actions.

Another NBA player getting a slap on the wrist!
Where are the consequences for his actions?
It is time the NBA said to it's players that bad behavior will Not be tolerated anymore!

will Indy be rid of star worshipping judges and a worthless prosecutor like Brizzi who lets the wealthy go free. If that had been one of us, we would have gone to jail but that lowlife scumbag thug goes free. THANK YOU CARL BRIZZI.
