Pietrus: 'Trade me now'

English is not the first language of Warriors forward Mickael Pietrus, but he had no trouble making himself clearly understood Tuesday: Trade me now.

warriors should be kicking themselves for not getting pietrus, and a couple other warriors to memphis for pau gasol. instead,they picked up webber, who really is a non-factor at best.

golden state needed a big man in his prime like gasol, not a bum like c-webb.

He only signed with the warriors because no other team would give him a multi-year deal.He is a streaky shooter at best.I really liked him in the beginning, but has shown to be mostly a catch and shoot player. If we could package him with some young talent or draft picks Ron Artest is still on the table.It's a risky play, but he comes at what is a bargain in the NBA for two more years.

Pietrus really has no room to talk, the only shot he's got is in the corner from beyond the arc and most of the time the ball doesn't even touch the rim. He's got speed to help him dunk, but that's about it. He should be happy playing with people that know how to play well, like Davis, Ellis, Jackson, and Harrington. I'd be happy sitting on that bench.

Pietrus is right to be frustrated. He's very underrated and underaprreciated. He can help a lot of teams and he's unhappy. He hustled his butt of for us. I'll miss him.

Pietrus is not a starting forward in this league. He has shown some moments of greatness, but is woefully inconsistant. Trade him and get something...anything...for him. Although, losing him in the off season wouldn't be a bad thing. The real problem will be finding a team that really wants him.
