Let me see, Willford gets two years in prison while I'm 100% confident that the Pacers involved will get off without so much as a slap on the wrist.

how are the pacers going to play with all these court dates? Or is the judge going to work the court dates around home games?

He hit him with his car, he deserves two years. If I was stephen jackson, i would have shot his ass instead of the air.

They both deserve time, but I'd be willing to bet money that Jackson will maybe have to pay a fine or do community service...if that. If that were any of us shooting a gun in the air we would have been in jail already. But not the pacers. And who cares about them anyway? WHy are they considered special? They SUCK!!
judges out of touch

2 yrs for a bar fight and he wasnt even the one who fired a gun.
does this judge think 2 yrs is short time . while the spoiled , smart mouth pacer gets off scott free.
this sentence does not fit the crime.
judicial system needs totally revamped , starting by replacing all judges

Jackson could have left--he had to go to his car to get his gun--why didn't he just drive away. If you were leaving a parking lot and some guy was firing a gun what would you do?

They should have given him a medal of honor and key to the city. The sports stars are not gods, they do not deserve their salaries and definitely not the above-the-law air in which they are able to carry on!

The pacers will not get even a slap on the hand. They will walk away scott free. Just remember that your friend BRIZZI works there. Oh for the old days when all criminals were equal.
2 sides to each story

If there are 2 sides to each story then why doesnt the person get some type of punishment too. Of course since it is a "supposed" celebrity, he is really just a "suuposed" basketball player, he gets scott free, why did they even appear, they knew they were going to get off anyway.
1. Mr. Jackson was and is on probation. When he got on probation they should of reminded him of the rules on when he can only shoot his gun in the "air". He violated probation. To me, over just some mouth talking guy why did he deserve a sound of a gun, why did he get threatened over a gun. If Jackson would of went to his car and just took off, then this poor guy would of not be in jail due to Mr. Jackson's actions. If anything, I would of not known what he was going to do with that gun.
Then Jackson told I think Daniels, to put his gun back into the car. Why, is Daniles becoming a hostage, covering over a criminal incident, oh because they are buddies. Sometimes your buddies have to face the consequences when they fail to do something wrong. Then they get to play the very next game. Doesnt the NBA suspend "without pay" any player, doesnt the NBA have any strict guidelines. The NFL has 3 chances and you are out. Why so differnt rules. How many chances does the hockey team have. Atleast Dungy has a head on his shoulders we do not accept off field incidents the players have toface the consequesnces. and, they should, or else guess what they will repeatedly to do if they can get by on palying basketabll, partying, fighting in the public and still get paid for it, why not, is their attitude. IF this keeps up they will get which court to report to. Is it the basketball court that I have to appear at or at the courtroom. I think the problem is at LArry's, Donnies and Ricks, they should be more stricter. Its like treat them like babies, take away a toy that they love playing with and train them not to do that trick again until they learn. Betcha it might work. But you have to take away suspend them that game of basketball "without pay", people call it heyhe got suspended with pay, well hell that is a vaction to those people that get punish that way. They still arent learnign what they didi wrong, so you need to take away that money part. Remember everything in todays world is all about money, so hurt their pocket for a minute see how they feel. The fans are upset with the attitude oon how Rick, Larry and Donnie are handling it not in a professional way. They get to play until proven guilty. Havent they realize that their basketbal team will never get punsihed thru the court system the jusges are treating them like celebrties or since their attendence is down they might have slipped the judges suite passes to help them with their court appearances, media and need more fans. Well, play like you want to play ball and try to handle your behaviorial problems in more of an adult way. IT sounds like the pacers cant handle big talk mouth talk, they just cant walk away from the situation. ITs better to be a bigger man and walk away from the situation then to cause it to go worse. Mr. JAckson should go to behaviorial counseling.
