Yes Stephen, Iam sure that is were God wanted you at a strip club. Come on man I understand you have a personal life and what you do on your own time is your own business but don't play the God card.

I wonder if God knew what he was doing inside the freaking strip club. What a hypocrite!!!

Jackson said "God knew I wasn't doing wrong. He knew I was minding my business doing the right thing."

Being at a strip club with guns and drugs and kicking a man when he is lying on the ground. Those are doing the right things? Maybe the Boy Scouts of America should change their motto.

Being in a strip club with a gun is very God like. I wouldn't pay one dime to see any over paid athelete like you. The Pacers should dump you.

Steve is trying to right things. He has been contrite since the incident, and is humbled by it. He knows there's a perception by a large group of Pacers fans that he's a street fighter, a hardhead, a thug, so he's trying to change that.

He has accepted that people have seen his name in the middle of alot of bad things that have happened over the last 2 years, and that it's understandable they think he's a thug. The good thing is he's actually acknowledging all that and he's using the experience as a positive.

I hope as Steve goes through this season that he continues to count on those of us who support him. I was angry as much as anybody about this incident, and felt betrayed, but it's over, it's done, and we need to put it into proper perspective. The incident was more like a violent fight at a sock hop than anything else. The media always blows embellishes these types of things - it sells more papers and more sponsor opportunities. No biggee!

If he goes out and does good things on the court, doesn't argue calls incessantly and plays solid ball he'll win most fans back. Some fans are never going to see him as a good guy, but he's just got to accept that too, in my opinion.

I've had it; just had it with sports stars getting caught doing something wrong and offering excuses for their poor decisions. All sports are filled with current players who do not find themselves in the media in a negetive way. I as a fan that helps pay the multi-million dollar checks to these dorks would like to see this jerks dismissed from the team and the league with due process. If this happens then maybe, just maybe future playes will not treat their status so cavalier.

Bye-bye Jax.

Go away. Larry do your job and waive him good-bye

Kicking a handicapped person while down is not acceptable.

No tix for this Pacer fan until Jax is gone.

Until the thug, I mean Jackson, admits he shouldn't have bean at a strip club at that time of night during training camp with a gun. I will not support him or the Pacers. I love Indiana Basketball and I want to support hard working, likeable people. I am not only a huge Pacer fan but an owner of a Reggie Miller Celebraduck.

Jax,
If you didn't put yourself in risky situations then you would not have to carry a concealed weapon. For someone supposedly working to change his image, maybe you should have thought about why you were out at a strip club at 3 AM during training camp? Quit blaming others and Hopefully God will give you the strength to tell the REAL truth.

I was shocked when Jackson wasn't jetisoned during the off-season. At least Artest was a nice, family guy who probably worked harder than anyone else on the team.

More than anything, it shows tremendously poor leadership for he and Tinsley, veterans on the team, to be using such poor judgement with newer players on the team.

The Pacer teams of the 90s were overwhelmly stacked with really great guys. Some of those guys never got the credit for the friendly face and class they brought to the club. I even miss Rik Smits. ;-)

You can't be contrite if you don't acknowledge bad behavior. Assuming to speak God's judgement does not show contrition - it shows arrogance. Jax thinks we judge him on his braids and tattoos. WRONG. We see your actions, Jax. You're supposed to represent our city, and you have completely failed in that respect. Go away.

Yeah, he'll be back to the "Old Jack" soon. It takes more than a haircut and some new "spin" on the story to make me believe there has been any change in this loser. Even if they win games, the fans won't forget that like he said he fired his gun and kicked a guy.

Way to go Stevie. I'm glad you cut off them braids. Now go out and prove everybody wrong because I know you're not a thug. You're not a common person anymore though you would like to be, you can't how with regular people who have nothing to lose. Stay off of PA scene as much as possible also, those fools have nothing to lose down there also. Keep God first always!

Not only is Jackson a thug he is an idiot. He makes the statement nobody really knows him just the Detroit incident and now this one. He claims both situations were situations he was put in, that had nothing to do with him. HE chose to be at the strip club at 3 in the morning with a gun in his car which HE decided to shoot several times. How can he begin to make such a claim that he had nothing to do with them!! Grow up and take responsibility for your own actions and quit blaming everyone else and society. I think his agent and PR people need to get with him a little more before he ever speaks. I know actions speak louder than words, however, in this case, both are screaming...CUT HIM LOOSE!!!

By the way Steve, fans or fans, they come and go. I know the real you and I know you have the moneya nd some fame now and it was a long hard road to get there. Don't blow it! I know you're God Fearing and you believe in him, but you make bad decisions, we all do. Man forget the fans who hate you, they will hate but if you were to hitthe game winner in game 7 of the Finals, you would be the greatest person. Forget the media and just play ball, most of the people in the arena don't look like you and behind closed doors you can only imagine whatthey really call you so foregt them too. Just do what you love, play ball, help your team, & check that direct deposit every pay day. God forgives and loves no matter what but please stay away from strip clubs and night clubs, like I said those people have nothing to lose, you have alot to lose. I know Ms. Judy, Bianca, and DOnnie would say the same.
