was bird and walsh on crack when they gave him that kind of contract looks like the simmons might want to look at management

Fellow Pacer fans come to the water of truth. I will say what no sports writer has the kahona's to say.

1st, the Pacers need knew ownership. The Simons haven't cared about this city or this state for years and this is proven by their willingness to let this embarrassment to continue.

Donnie Walsh is not the god of NBA Executives this media has made him out to be. Look at the record, he has had 18 years to bring a championship to this state and has come close only once. He has made only two wise draft choices in eighteen years. If it were not for Reggie's coat tails Walsh would not have one thing to point to that justifies how the sports media in this town worship at his alter.

If you have not been watching, the Pacers have decide to tank this season. In a desperate effort to save the only draft pick they have. I will be surprised if this team wins more than 5 games for the rest of the year and if they do they will be sighted for conduct detrimental to the team.

This town needs sports media that tells the truth becomes the voice of the common fans (you know the ones that actually have to pay for their tickets)not the bunch of ass kissers we have now. Tell it like it is the Pacers are an embarrassment and Donnie, Rick and Larry have no clue. Hold these over paid losers accountable for and to the real fans.

Please send Tinsley anywhere.

Here is how to fix the Pacers.

Sell them to owners that actually reside in the state of Indiana and don't just use it as their personal cash cow.

Send Walsh, Bird and Carlisle to NBA Iraq.

Suspend Tinsley for the rest of his contract. Every time he takes the floor is conduct detrimental to the team.

Let Daniels and Harrison go join their mentor Jonathan Bender.

Place the entire team including JO on notice. Play defense or don't play.

Make the entire team watch Reggie Miller game tapes over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

See you all next year this season is a wrap. Its March madness and there is real basketball to watch.

The offseason cannot come soon enough. Let's unload all these wannabe gangstas and get focused on solid b-ball.
Maybe Rik and Reggie can come out of retirement and teach these young punks some fundamentals.
At any rate, change HAS to be coming to Conseco Fieldhouse next year. It's so funny the difference in class between Indy's two major teams (Colts's class act and Pacers' class clowns).

ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!

All this bad press does not stop at the Indiana state line, people. Friends in Boston and Los Angeles tell me that Pacers are a huge joke on both coasts.(and everywhere in between). Guilt by association means they aren't just laughing at the team. They are laughing at you and me, too. How's that for Pacer pride? The community builds a team what many consider to be the finest sports facility in the world and this is the payback.

Let's not give up on the whole team because of one guy. I have never cared for Tinsley. We do need a Point Guard.

Go Pacers.

This guy is a bumb and needs to realize the gift he has been given. Maybe a couple of years working a 9-5 at $30K/yr he will learn.
Are you kidding? This guy is set for life and is coasting now. He'll never have to work another day in his life. Where else would that 'tude come from. In the military they call it "retired on active duty."

He's got us all by the short hairs and is loving it. Joke's on us, everybody.

Keep it up Pacers... a chance at Durant or Oden is just a few games away at this point.

Seriously at the start of the season I was hoping they could tank it just to get a shot at Oden. If the NBA gave us Oden it would make up for giving Ewing to the Knicks 22 years ago.

I'm a huge basketball fan and have followed the Pacers for decades, but I'm sick of them.

They will have to earn back my support; I'll be surprised if that happens.

Its just a matter of time until he breaks that contract or demands to be traded. Hold on folks this going to be interesting.

is anyone suprised by this? seriously.

The level of expectation for this team is so low in the publics eye, this news registers nothing more than a slight laugh.

Case in point: If no one expects you to finish the race, what difference does it make if you quit halfway through rather than 2/3's of the way through? Either way no one thought you would finish.

Sure hope they draft someone the people of Indiana can rally around.

Get rid on Tinsley, Daniels, Carlisle, Bird, and Jermaine,,,what have they done since they have been here, except getting paid pretty good money in return for misconduct, lacluster performance, and poor coaching and management. Perhaps Donnie can convince the Simon's to sell the team and move them to..hmm....Baltimore.

Why do we put up with these bums. This is an increasingly difficult team to embrace. This bad boy image is getting old.

If he is in prison serving time then he breaks his contract not the Pacers and the Pacers are off the hook....same goes for Daniels....now if we could find a way to unload J.O......we could start over.

Pacers played better without Tinsley last night vs Philly.

I am glad Carslile stood up to the unacceptable Tinsley behavior.

Now bench Tinsley another game for behavior detrimental to the team ON the floor!

"It's self-explanatory to the point to where there was an issue that had to do with our team's rules and regulations that I felt had to be decisively addressed," Carlisle said. "... I'm not going to expound on it anymore, it's just something that needed to be addressed. It has been and we have to move on."

Naw Rick. C'mon!! Tardy to practice & you bust the mans chops? What happens if a team member were to... say, um... fire a weapon numerous times in the air? Punch a guy who's handicapped? Tackle a spectator? Polish on off in another city's open window?

Bird, Carlisle... they gotta go.

Good job Coach. It is past time for the Pacer players to learn there are concequences for their actions on and off the court.
