"Excessive tardiness to practice?" It's self explanatory there Rick. Grow some balls and nip it when the first tardiness happened. The guy was just doing what he does.

It's one thing when Tinsley goes out there with his guaranteed contract and walks through the motions; it's completely another thing when (during the Pacers' time) he starts not showing up, or straggling in late. I have long thought, and still do, that Jamaal is our best pure point guard. Take away his off-court stuff/3-point misses, and he plays pretty well- he is a great ball-handler. But this must change! His New York up-bringing seems to make him hate it here, and despise it more when he thinks about staying around until 2011. You can see when someone doesn't want to be here (like Edgerrin) who never bought a house, and only stayed in the state during the season- but he was a professional. He showed up and played.
In all honesty, he IS our PG of the future- a very gray future that is! People take on bad-character guys, but not 'lazy' guys. We're stuck!

Get rid of Tinsley!!
When he is first or 2nd on the team in FG attempts, the team loses.
He has forgotten is a point guard.
This would be a different team with a real point guard

Was it Tinsley's shooting or defense that was considered "conduct detrimental to the team"?

Tinsley should never be allowed to play again for the Pacers. He should be out period. Come on management, show some character. Show some courage. Show some wisdom.

If we have to have people on the team that ALWAYS focus on bad antics off the court I would rather NOT have a team than read/listen to this stuff all the time! GET RID OF THE BAD SEEDS! and let's focus on basketball!

Good grief. In any other business Tinsley (whether or not he's found guilty) would have been fired for all the bad PR he has brought down on the club. It's obvious that the welfare of "the company" means nothing to him. Time to stand up to the players union, owners!

I've lived in Indy all my life, I've allways supported the Pacers, but now I could care less about them.I'm in Florida this winter and my friends here think they are bums for the most part. It's a shame but it's true, the Pacers reputaion is bad, in fact it stinks! Clean up the team Larry before it's too late!(or is it too late ?)

This guy is a bumb and needs to realize the gift he has been given. Maybe a couple of years working a 9-5 at $30K/yr he will learn.

You can not just "fire" or "get rid of" Tinsley! He has a contract for another 5 years! He will have to be traded --- that means some other team has to want him. How many other teams want all his baggage? Just quit griping and let Larry and Donnie see what they can do in the off season. In the meantime, we have to put up with him.

Attitude and work ethics comes from respect of leadership, the players have no respect for Carlisle. I'm not trying to defend Tinsley, Jackson or Artest but the players seem to have no respect for Carlisle or his style of coaching. It happened in Detroit with teams that won 50 games a season. They didn't want to paly for him and when they got a real coach they won the championship. Bird and Walsh need to realize that it may not be the players but the coach. Wehn Mike Brown was the Head Asst coach he kept the players in check except the Brawl in Detroit. Carlisle must go

This guy HAS to go, I dont care if all we can get is a used Lebron sweatband for him. If you want to avoid the "Portland of the East" title, and about 12,000 fans per game, then some big changes HAVE to happen. Very disappointing
