You are a frigging idiot. in most rural areas it's not even a crime to fire you weapon. You don't even get so much as a citation. The only reason he was arrested is because he fired the gun within city limits.
Who's a frigging idiot? Maybe it is one who doesn't think there are CITIES in rural counties.
No sir, this is a rural county. You ain't gonna find no city limits here. You can fire yur weapon anywhere in these here parts and yur not gonna hit nothin. Is that your moronic thinking?
You keep your URBAN ignorance in Marion county, as well as your homicide rate and your drive-by shootings. However, we country folk, who happen to live within the city limits, will do just fine throwing those who chose to fire their weapons in the city limits, INTO JAIL.

Why do all you white folks get upset when a black mam with money uses the system the same way white people use it daily to stay out of jail??

I don't know Jonny M. Do you think it's because it's their system and they don't want the secret to get out?

he learns from this in a positve way
maybe he can help one person turn
his life around with his twenty hours
of service. Sad day to be a Raider

Outrageous! Jackson recklessly threatens by firing a firearm and gets off with no jail time. Meanwhile, the guy he threatened, Deon Willford, who was trying to protect himself from the crazed gunman by using his car as a weapon, serves 2 years in jail! Where is justice in this? Amazing!

Name the current Pacer roster players you consider to be a hoodlum. Apart from Tinsely and Daniels' legal issues, which have yet to be settled, please name for me the other Pacer players who have had legal troubles or have shot guns in strip club. Let's hear your names. Bet you can't name them, because you're just an ignorant Hoosier who would rather stereotype and generalize than speak with an informed opinion or with all the facts.
Last time I checked, the Union contract prevented the NBA from banning anyone for anything other than drug violations. Good luck working that clause into the next contract.
Oh, and by the way, haven't substantially MORE NFL players been arrested for more serious offenses in the last 12 months. Oh, that's right, with their helmets on, you can't generally see that they're black. THAT'S the real reason most Hoosiers hate the Pacers.
Stop playing the race card. Many just use race as an excuse. I would certainly support Jackson on a team a lot more than any of the current Pacer team. His athletic ability far outways any of the current. Where were the Pacers at playoff? Did not even make it. Where was Jackson? Race is not a relevant issue, it is ability and obviously, you have none.

The third time for Jackson? Club Rio and the Palace Brawl. That's two.
Your last question is irrelevant because Jackson didn't hit anyone. That's why he was charged with reckless endangerment rather than more serious charges. That would be saying that Dominic Rhodes (remember him, the Colt who was arrested in February) should have been charged with attempted murder because he might have injured someone while driving drunk. Jackson could only be charged to the level of the crime. But, if you feel that the plea bargain is so out of line, then get a lawyer and file a friend of the court brief to get it overturned.
Plea bargains happen all the time, you don't have to be a lawyer to understand that aspect of the legal system.
1. Bench brawl in Mich.
2. Rio brawl in Indy.
3. Violation from #1.
That's 3
Big or little they all get you back in court saying yes sir, I'm at fault, never happen again sir.
One last thing, you can put your race card away because it has nothing to do with it. I do find it however more often then not most people playing the race card are themselves racist. That's in itself is what keeps all this going. He broke the law, he lied or should I say wasn't totally honest, and is a danger to himself and the public. I am glad he's gone not as a player but as a person.

Here's a test for you THE THE:
Your daughter has a chance to marry (1) a rich, well-educated black man or (2) a gun-rack toting white mechanic who slaps her just to start the day. You are a racist if you choose number dos. That should put an end to this debate. Now lets move on.
I don't have a daughter, but she can marry whoever the hell she wants. Int he end, she is the one who has to make the decision. I don't care if it takes a Pigmy in Austrailia as long as she gets what she wants.

Exactly how do you measure "economic boost" to Indy from having Pacers? Most of the so-called benefit is merely smoke blowing or plain ole BS. I'd like to see a list of the 'economic boosts' and the dollar value per annum for each.
Economic boost comes from the income generated to the downtown businesses during a Pacers game. That's just one example.
