Dear Rick,

Please do everyone in Baltimore a favor. First, pick up your co-worker Mr. Preston. Second, get lost on the back roads of NC or Tenn. Third, stay lost.

Beautiful and heartwarming story about Davidson and its
devotion to and pride in Wildcats basketball. Bob McKillop and the team are such a class act, and to Bob the teammates are "family." What an incredible tribute to leadership and modeling integrity. I've never seen a more exciting year than this one.

It's great to see a story about the alma mater I love so much in a local paper.

Davidson College was NOT named for one of the hosts of ABC-TV's "That's Incredible!" If the Wildcats do make it to the Final Four, I guess that would be incredible.

I, too, am a proud Davidson graduate and love my Wildcats! It's great to see my college getting this type of national exposure. When I was at Davidson, going to basketball games with my friends was THE highlight of winter term.
One thing that the article didn't mention was the Davidson tradition (for men) to get "Nortonized." That meant going over to the barbershop and getting a Marine-style buzz cut. It's great to hear that Mr. Norton is still there!

Took my daughter last spring to visit Davidson from New Jersey.
The town is very nice, but the part about the occasional car is a bit of a stretch. The traffic along the main drag is very heavy with a lot of tractor-trailors. The college is beautiful, however, and worth a visit from any rising senior with high academic credentials. I would love to see Davidson go far in the tourney, but the bracket looks tough!

Looks like Ron Raeford called it right: a six-point win for Davidson over Gonzaga ... then more dramatics for the "W" over Georgetown. The games are afoot!
