It's more important to catch an NBA player with cough syrup for sale than catch the ATM robbers around this city.

Better yet, plan a stakeout to catch prostitutes and strippers rather than armed robbers. It's alot safer and the scenery is better.

I get it - his parents were never mentioned in the story. Looks like his grandfather didn't do a very good job this time either. Shame, Shame, Shame!

Why all the crime associated with basket ball players? What is the connetion between crime and basket ball players? What could it be? Let me think. Oh yeah...nevermind.

Oh yeah and a shout out to all of our hard working boys in blue that sit parked in the cut, like crouched tigers, waiting to swoop down on law abiding citizens doing a few miles over the limit, or forgot to put their seatbelts on, or whose tags went out last month and they haven't had the money yet for a catalytic converter to pass inspection, but still have to go to work. I work on Mendenhall and for at least two days out the week, it's an orgy of blue lights stopping some of everybody, like there's some contest back at the precinct.

But I must say though that this is just another blemish to black atheletes, we'd like to think that pro sports careers can replace the years of growing up around dumb stuff, but I guess it's not the case. ANd I knew the Nets were bad but dang he didn't have to get off the team like this!!!! lol.

I hate this for this young man, as any person. I find it even sadder though that some people read and comment such racial, ignorant comments and "youtube" songs dedicated to him that don't help the situation. I am praying for him and his family. Hopefully this will be put behind him and he will be able to live up to his potential. Once we finally get past the religious, racial, economic barriers, etc..Maybe we will come together and start making changes ion this city/community/world. It is much easier to cover people like this in prayer than it is to blog and make fun of them. I don't agree with what he did at all but sometimes the response is worse than the initial offense....wake up people!

That boy, Williams, is a prime example of whats wrong with "sports" today! Now, let's make an example OF him, by sending his smart-alecky self straight to the Penile Farm, where they will shave his head & hopefully put a few "Goose Eggs" there, as well....
Alas, if only they would re-institute corporal punishment & put the strap to his back-side, maybe they could get thru to the boy....
There, I said whut needed to be said!!!
How stupid and quite racist of you "ol Butterbean," are you ignorant to the racist connotations with the use of the word "Boy" when referring to an adult African American. He is a man, just like you, using that word to refer to him must make you feel better about your miserable bumpkin existence. What decade from the past are you living in? One that condones the use of violence in the penile system and to say "put the strap to his back side" also sounds like a reference to punishing slaves. You are the one that needs a "few goose eggs" on your head and maybe it will knock you forward to 2010. You are a "prime example" of what was wrong with the past of the old south. So do society a favor and lock yourself up in your house and stay away from the next generation so we can finally eradicate this ignorant racist mentality. Try to change your ways and have a good day mr lima bean.

Yea in a socioeconomic way but more important than being hypocritical it's fighting fire with fire. I see you're smart enough not to defend the stupid rednecks obvious racial comments, his kind and any one that thinks his way is what gives the south a bad name nationally. Sorry if you're offended by wishing these old south backwards thinking good ol boys will wake up and move into the 21st century.
