If the bar didn't want to press charges why is this prosecutor doing this? Is this a ploy by Brizzi to make himself look bigger? Dont get me wrong , I am not on the players side but it seems to me this is BS.

Plea bargain that reads like this; Jamal Tinsley leaves Indianapolis and is NEVER allowed back here! Please take your troubles far away from here! Young kids don't need your pathetic influence. Your a "cancer" to the Pacers!
Well you know, IT IS, WHAT IT IS ! Brizzi wants a lie to tell . |
So what will Bird plea bargain ? That he ran this once proud team in the ground! |
Simon says....we will change.
Let's hope so. |
The headline should read "2 FORMER Pacers' trial for '07 bar fight begins." These guys should not still be in Indy.
God, get a life "playa"! The only thing you ever post is your anti-Bird rhetoric. He's not the one out getting in trouble, and as soon as he can dump the bad seeds from the team, he will. |
To all you PLAYA HATERS, TOP OF THE MORNING TO YA. ME IRISH I AM.
HOLLA! |
Hey Jamaal and Marquis don't pack your guns or drugs to court!!
The Pacers were once a great team. We were proud of them. Please get rid of the trouble makers and get players to regain the pride and fans for Indy. This is not Vegas(what happens in Vegas shouldn't happen in Indy)
For many of us, these two aren't unpopular because they suck--this is the NBA after all--we've learned that talent is often a lesser qualification than persona. They're unpopular because they're criminals. In every post you've made, you seem to intimate that we're supposed to forgive them their crimes. What I haven't quite figured out yet is whether you feel we should do this because they're professional sports figures or because they're black. Most of the time, your rants indicate the latter. |
Yes Bird will try to get rid of them but he has shown he has no clue as to what he is doing. What good does it to get rid of Jamaal and Marquis if we get more soft players with bad contracts like Murphy and Dunleavy. Those two losers have never made the playoffs as professionals. The Pacers need to bring someone in that can evaluate talent before Bird screws up another draft and makes more terrible trades. It will be 4 years before the organization can recover from his last trade. Marquis should be easy to trade in the off season because he will only have one more year on his contract. |

Conseco Fieldhouse is too nice for the likes of Tinsley and his Gang. I don't care if another professional basketball game is ever played in Indianapolis. The NBA is pathetic.
Bird was the one who selected Danny Granger over Gerald Green, who was the HS phenom at the time. Everyone downplays it now as if it was such a no brainer, but it was a big decision at the time. |
Watch out now, nba thugs in town all week!
Thank you Mr. Prosecutor. This may be the only way to get these two thugs off the Pacers and our streets.

I agree, I'm not a pacers fan at all, but it does seem like Brizzi has the "LITTLE MAN SYNDROME" |

The closest that the Pacers ever made it to a championship win was when they played the Chicago Bulls (featuring the almighty Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and Dennis Rodman). That championship series went the distant 7 games, but because Chicago had homecourt advantage, they walked away with their 6th championship. That was back in 1996. 12 years later, the Pacers have went constantly downhill. After losing Reggie Miller to retirement, the Detroit fiasco, bar fights, firearm violations, drugs, and associating with murder suspects... it's safe to say that the glory days of the Pacers are long and over with. I can't even watch the games because they are playing with no heart and it is sad. We need to get rid of everyone and start over.... including Larry Bird and the coach!

i can't believe that he is the one that is actually going to try this case. has anyone see him at trial? It's a joke. The last trial he did he tried playing a videotape during opening statements when it hadn't, of course, been entered into evidence yet. the judge admonished him, and he looked puzzled as to why he wouldn't be allowed to play it. I think he went to the Acme school of law or was just probably pompous thinking he knew everything already and didn't need to attend class.

Ya know the game, me tell ya |
