Cavs sign Zips' Travis for summer

The Cavaliers have had some success in the past with players from Akron. Now they are giving another one a shot.

I liked Romeo Travis in the Akron U games and thought at the time the Cavs should get him. Hope he stays with them

Why not, I think it is a great idea. He may have the ability (given the correct training) to be a good player on a professional team. I am sure LeBron had a lot of influence on this decission, which that too I think is great. He should look out for those in his life who may not have all the opportunities he has been given due to his natural ability to be a overall awesome ball player. Go Romeo, this is your chance, give it your all!

Hi.. Im a big Lebron James fan. A Cavalier at heart. I just want to comment that the Cavs, are in need of a true point guard, who can create, pass and make his teamates better. Im talking about signing a guard this off season. Just trade Larry Hughes. Let him be on trading block and sign a trus guard. Sign Pavlovic and SIGN VAREJAO. Let go of Scot Pollard, Ira Newble and Wesley... Sign Deshawn Stevenson (a good defender) or Eddie Jones (the veteran can help the cavs big time). It just a comment. Thank you. Go Cavs go..

Im a big cavs fans. A Lebron Fan die hard. Im dissapointed coz' the cavs lose to san antonio in the finals and lose four games and didnt win a single game. I believed that the Cavs are in need of a true point guard. who can create and pass to make teammates look good. Lebron is a very good scorer, Indeed a great team player, and he need some help. Cavs must consider signing free agents like Eddie Jones (veteran that can score and pass) or a Deshawn Stevenson (underated defender and a scorer as well). hi im a 5'8 7th grade student from uhrichsville ohio who plays bball and ever since i was in 4th grade romeo travis and dru joice have came down and taught me post moves and outside moves and its helped me alot so if lebron helps him he should be ok
