SHELBURNE: Kobe's unselfishness needs to be more than a passing...

Full story: LA Daily News

Kobe Bryant, center, driving between Houston's Shane Battier, left, and Luis Scola, led the Lakers in scoring ... which more often than not is a recipe for a Lakers' victory, as evidenced Monday.

Idiot! Kobe doesn't continue to pass to teammates who continually CHOKE and can't hit easy shots! Too bad none of you kool-aid-drinking media types ever played big-time BBall!

I think LA flat out underestimated how much better the Rockets were than the last time they played them. It seemed like they just thought in the fourth quarter it would happen for them and it just didn't. The Rockets expect a much tougher test on Wednesday and I'm sure LA is looking to give it to them.

we all need to come to the conclusion that whenever the lakers lose, "it's one of their worst game" because when you lose, you lose whether it's by a point or 8 points.
my team wasn't in their mind set last night.

Kobe, Kobe, Kobe, why is it when Lakers loose it's if Kobe had done this or if Kobe had done that, what about the rest of the team? Gasol & LO didn't show up and when is Phil going to take the blame for his poor coaching it is jsut as much to blame, sometimes I wonder if he is watching the same game. To all you sports writers stop making such a big deal it was only an 8 point lost and as bas as the Lakers played I think that is not too bad of a lost.

B Dubb, " think LA flat out underestimated how much better the Rockets were than the last time they played them."

What are you taking about? First it was Mid
March when the two teams last played each other (not long ago) and don't put it on the Lakers because the media and sports writers didn't give respect to the Rockets, remember it takes 4 wins to take ther series, congrats you got a win on an off night from the Lakers, if you win game 2 then run your mouth...I see the so call Rocket fans are coming out of the woods since the Rockets won.

They were rusty. They will clobber the Rockets in 5 or 6 games.
Andrew has to stop playing like a moron. Those first 2 fouls were moronic.
Get Jordan some more time.
Walton's passing will help too.

People who write such dribble like this article about trusting your teammates is rubbish. Kobe can go on trusting and trusting and trust themselves right out of the playoffs. When you and people like you realize that the team is not doing its job, then you want Kobe to take over, as if he was a water faucet to be turned off and on. I don't think you know just how much it takes out of a player to spend 4 quarters trying to see that his team is involved. It like having two jobs. You sports writers expect too much from Kobe, but give him no respect as a player.

"not long ago"? Tell me where in my post I wrote that? or even insinuated it..huh? and running my mouth? please that wasn't running my mouth. I was definitely giving LA the benefit of the doubt in my post by you obviously missed the point (just like the Lakers missed theirs). I think the Rockets winning game two would be something and yes I would run my mouth because that would be quite an accomplishment for such an apparent underdog....hell even Tracy McGrady picked the Lakers to win.
