Timberwolves turn in another defenseless effort in loss to Rockets

It's becoming very clear why the Timberwolves give up more points per game than any team in the NBA. Full Story

100% correct. This team either can't or won't play any defense. They have enough talent on this roster right now to be better. I'm not sure a high draft pick and a free agent signing or trade would change things much at all if as individuals and as a TEAM they don't start playing much better defense.

It is time to fire Mr. Rambis. How much of a mini-zen master do you have to be to say, "Guard the three"?

Yea, yea, yeah, blah, blah, blah!! Why don't you wait until they win ONE and put it all over the FRONT PAGE!! Otherwise it is trash sports journalism! ;-(

I think it all starts with the point guards being unable to stop dribble penetration. Other people collapse towards the PG and the whole damn thing unravels.

Just absolutely woeful defense, and none of the players seem to be all that bothered about it.

Flynn and Ridnour have to go, before any defense happens.

We double teamed Chuck Hayes on the perimeter on Monday night. Seriously Ridnour, Chuck freakin Hayes needs to be doubled anywhere on the court? That left a wide open three pointer for Lowry. Obviously this happens all the time but that one ALMOST made me not want to renew my season tickets for next year. I can deal with the losses, but not doing the little things really gets on my nerves.

I miss the days of ole stop and pop. Heck, even Troy Hudson was serviceable. Now THAT'S sad!

Here's a thought, why not change their name to the Tender-wolves! ;-)
It would be a far more appropriate name for them - that's for sure!!
