Minnesnowda has collectively the most ignorant owners in pro sports. Taylor is finally realizing the committee approach doesn't work. Hopefully, the idiot Zygi will realize that soon with the Queen's. McHale dominated the committee approach which led to no accountability and terrible trade and draft decisions. His enabling by Taylor doomed this organization for more than a decade. Similarly the fool Zygi has enabled Childress to screw up the Vikings QB position for the last four years. If Zygi doesn't get rid of his coach and front office he will continue to see his team waste its potential. In business and sports you need a dominate executive that is accountable and skilled. In Minnesnowda we have plenty of cold and the most ignorant owners in the country, maybe Taylor's decision will change that.

Who the hell is Jim Stack? The T-Pups have more coaches and GM types than any team in the league, and they still are horrible. How does Taylor justify paying all these clowns when the team is such a joke?
Let's hope they bring in someone from the outside, or maybe Hoiberg who can't be blamed for all the past messes.
Same goes for the Wild - start over!

A nice interview. But can we please get some reporting on what outside candidates Mr. Taylor has actually interviewed? We're just going to take him at his word that he's done a full search?

bring back Flip as coach/GM

Package a couple of there first round picks for a point guard.
Hopefully they can get lucky and land Blake Griffin.

I don't think we want to bring Flip Saunders back as GM. Flip has to take some heat for letting Chauncey Billups go even if the final decision was made by the Ostrich, Kevin McHale. By the way, did anybody notice where Chauncey had the Denver Nuggets in the standings? In second place, right behind the Lakers. Where is Detroit? Desperately trying to make the field as an 8th seed in the Eastern Conference. Where are the Wolves? Last place in the Northwest Division (behind Oklahoma City), and still in need of a point guard.

No matter who gets the GM job, it means the Wolves will be rebuilding yet again. This move comes a little too late for me.

"Big Hoss went down, we've been riding the Pony. Pony down, we went to the Rhino (Smith). Rhino down ... I don't know. I guess next game we're going to have to feed the Dog."

This is an unbelievably hilarious quote. If Telfair did this just off the top of his head, it's "Brooklyn Brilliant."

Bring back Flip Saunders as GM (he did, after all draft KG, not McHale), and hire Sam Mitchell as head coach.

Yes he was the coach, but he did serve as a Wolves manager for a little time. While McFail technically drafted KG, it was Flip's idea, but Flip got no credit for it.
