Al got robbed. He deserves to be on the all star team. Hopefully he'll get his due in the coming years, seeing how young he is. And no doubt that KLove also deserved to be in the Rookie/Soph game. Look at those rebounding totals and he offense is really picking up. By the end of the year, he'll definitely be close to the top 3 for rookies. You give Love the minutes and he'll produce.

Big Al is the lone scorer on a bad team. Someone has to score so his numbers are inflated. If Love would have played better early in the year he would have been there but he was terrible. If the Wolves keep improving both will get their chances. Remember Wally Szczerbiak was an All-Star and that was because the Wolves were kicking ass and they needed to take a couple of players. But you can't just look at scoring numbers. Bit Al is a poor defender but he's young he'll get better and the team will get better. He was not robbed.

Eden Prairie Wild Fan,

I agreed with what you wrote about Love hurting his chances as he played very poorly the first month or two. I still think that Love deserved to be in the game, based on how he has played the last two months.

Big Al was, in fact, robbed. The "diesel" got the nod over Big Al based on who the "diesel" was, not who he is now. Shaq benefited because he was the face of the NBA for a decade, and a nationally prominent player. Shaq also plays for the Suns, and the game happens to be in Phoenix. Big Al plays up here in "flyoverland" for a sub .500 team. It is easy to ignore Al based on where he plays as well as the team's record.

Love hurt his own chances of being selected by playing poorly up until mid-December, but probably still should have been selected. Big Al has been a stud all year long, and was only passed over because of "politics".

The Wolves are 16 - 28, so it's not surprising they have zero representation in the all star game.

They are showing some life (7 - 3 in last ten), but have to play the Lakers and Celtics this week, so it all points to going to 5 - 5 in last 10.

Forget the all star game, take some time off, and come back and bring the year end record to .500.

This is not the year to give the Wolves awards, next year is.

Jefferson may have been deserving, but being left off the All-Star team is not exactly a travesty of justice. Yes, he may be the T-Wolves best player, but far from a lock for being among the best in the NBA. Now the real injustice is KLove not making the all-rookie game. Really? In less minutes he produces what Horford does for Atlanta, and nobody doubts how good Al is. I will say that McHale is doing a good job of bringing KLove along, decent minutes without burning him out as a rookie.

BGA is not anywhere near to being an all-star because he has done nothing but lose his entire career.
Since the trade for the real all-star K.G., BGA has led Minny to a 38-88 record.
Who would want to see a mediocre losing chump play on a floor full of winners?
Until BGA can put together a better game he should stay on the sideline indefinitely.
