It is frustrating to see that Taylor is papering over his team's mediocrity and his coach's and gm's ineptitude with happy talk. I had expected better of him. Where is the man who once had the courage to talk about "a failed experiment?"

and they wonder why nobody goes to their games...the T-wolves so called BRASS are trying to create this "we really snookered them" idea into everyones head...just to read this foolish nonsense that keeps coming out of there mouths shows that the "BRASS" is clueless...the T-wolves have an IDIOT for a head coach...another IDIOT for their GM...and another IDIOT for an owner...that is some "BRASS"...the laughing stock of the league

Of course the fool McHale likes the deal. He probably still thinks for Roy for Foye deal was a good one and the Mayo for Love too. What else is the incompetent tool going to say? "I screwed up again?" Even Taylor won't admit reality.

Let's summarize again: Allen for Marbury, 5 first round picks for Joe Smith (that's right, Joe Freakin Smith), Roy for Foye, Garnett for a guy who can't pass or play D and a box of spare parts, and Mayo for Love. It's quite a resume.

The T-Wolves are doomed for eternity unless they dump McFail. This guy hasn't made a correct decision since he took over as GM/VP of Basketball Operations, or whatever other title he's holding now. His legacy has got to be the absolute worst in the history of professional sports. Remember when he was going to be working with Inubi, or whatever the heck that teenagers name was, to make him a legitimate basketball player. As other posters have listed, McFail's lack of skills in evaluating talent are legendary!

The problem the Wolves have is they have not recognized how professional basketball has changed. When the Wolves drafted Garnett, big tall centers and power forwards dominated the league: Shawn Kemp, Karl Malone, Tim Duncan, David Robinson, Hakeen Olajuwon, Patrick Ewing, Shaquille O'Neal, etc. Beginning with the Dallas Mavericks, and later the Phoenix Suns, the NBA became an uptempo league, which means guard and swing players became just as important as big men. Therefore, Dirk Nowitski, Steve Nash, Manu Ginobilli, Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, Chris Paul, Dwayne Wade, etc. now are ruling the game of basketball. So until the Wolves either create a new style of basketball or acclimate themselves to today's game, they won't be good enough to challenge for anything other than last place. That's why keeping OJ Mayo would have been a better move than adding another big player in Kevin Love.
