Adam Morrison was a terrible draft pick. He cannot pass, rebound or guard anyone. All he can do is shoot as he doesn't do that well. Brandon Roy or Rudy Gay would have been a much better pick. The Bobcats are idiots!!!!!!!!!!

<John> Yes Brandon Roy would have been a great pick. If not injured, he will probably win Rookie of the Year. But Charlotte was in big need of a scorer. They got the best one available.

It's up to them to find ways to help him get open and let him shoot from anywhere and he will help you win with a good supporting cast of rebounders and passers.

The Bobcats are perhaps brighter than you think. Be a little patient and watch Morrison become one of the next bigtime NBA scoring threats.

John,

If you've had a chance to watch some of the Bobcats games this season then you'll notice that Adam can do one thing better than anybody else in this draft by far... And thats put the ball in the basket. He went through a wicked 4 or 5 game slump where he was missing his shots, but those shots that weren't dropping will start to go in for him once he gets more comfortable in the NBA. Only nine games in and he already has had a 27 point game and two 21 point games. No other rookie is putting up numbers like that.

You are going to judge Morrison after this few games and say that he is terrible. You gotta be kidding me John. Did you expect him to be Larry Bird right out of college. He will be an outstanding player, better all around player and develop nicely over the course of the season. Get back to me when he wins rookie of the year and averages about 17-19 pts a night. He is perfect for the Bobcats.

Peja is the best shooter in the NBA, nobody is even close. Great pick up for hornets. It will help that he has the best point guard in the league as well to dish him the ball. Hornets are for real. Adam morison was a good pick up for Charlote. Best player in the draft.

Good analysis John, that Brandon Roy and Rudy Gay thing is really working out well. I mean, Brandon Roy and Rudy Gay are scoring 20-plus points a night, grabbing 5-rebounds, dishing out 5-assists over the past five games, are leading all rookies in scoring by 7-points per night with the least amount of talent on an NBA team, and each have scored 27-points against the three time defensive player of the year Bruce Bowen...no wait that would be Adam Morrison. You are an idiot, not the Bobcats.

I have watched Adam Morrison through his carrer at Gonzaga and the NBA and I have to say I am less than impressed. His shot is very slow. Way to slow for the NBA, and while yes, he has a high release point, that won't fool defenders for long. Once defenders have played him a few times they will have no problem disrupting his shot. That is just a small problem though when faced with his complete inability to play defense. All that to say that I think it will be a long time until he is actually NBA caliber. With lots of work he could make it though. Also the Bobcats did the right thing in picking him because he was the best player in a TERRIBLE draft that year. Which is sad and I feel sorry for them because they couldn't get a Lebron or Wade, there just wasn't anything to choose from.

He should be back from his back surgery before the play offs start. He has been putting away the surgery for a few years. Now that he has had it, i'm sure we'll see peja who was a mvp type player a few years ago. New Orleans got a chance to do some things in play offs. However! Nobody is going to beat Dallas. They look unstopable.
