WOW! Ease up on the caffein big fella! It's just a basketball game after all. The Celts beat the lakers twice during the regular season when Bynum was with the team, so the fact he is back is not big deal. For the World Champs this is just another game in the long regular season, but to the lakers it apparently is the whole season. The Celts are considerably better than they were last year when they totally embarassed the "Fakers" so there is no reason to doubt that banner # 18 will be hoisted in Boston in June.

I think that the lakers really needed this win. even if it's just a regular season game, it's a way to show the fans that they can take on teams like these. I believe that this game gave the lakers a boost in confidence. In a way it was a test for the lakers to see where they are, and help them improve becuase they are on a collision course either the Celtics or Cavaliers!

Doesnt the nba know that this is a Christian holy day, called Christmas by the way, and I am utterly disgusted and offended that these people (nba) and the people posting here have NO RESPECT or reverence for Christians and for Jesus Christ. They should not be playing on this day!
This is Jesus' birthday. Its not about watching a bunch of overpaid, media inflated ego maniacs play a fake sport on a small court.
If you want to spend your day worshipping some form of Mythology or fairy tales go right ahead. It's a free country, don't watch the game. Not everyone in America is a "christian". The Davis Stern is Jewish, That means he doesn't believe in the new testment AT ALL. Believe what you want, But don't be so selfish, arrogant and self-centered that everyone has to worship your fairy tales the way you do.

Fine. Have it your way.

I worship God.
David Stern worships MONEY.
And you worship Kobe.

If the Laker's win over the Hornets did anything for this team it is the energy and confidence that they can build upon. The rest will have to be a "show me the money" kind of game. Quit talking and just show me what you're made of then you could talk any trash - you've earned it-kind-of situation with the Lakers. If they need to make a statement that will vibrate through the rest of the season, this will be it. Otherwise, the Celtics will still have the last word. So, Lakers, show us what you got!!!!!!!
92-83 ... go choke on a four leaf clover, tin man. Cause thats what you and your team has got ... NO HEART, not to mention any male genetailia.

No idiot ... 92-83 your team got exposed for what they are ... tin (wo)men ... NO HEART, lets not forget the lack of male genetelia that they showed down the stretch as well. 13-2 in the last 3:32 ... they were outplayed, outcoached but most of all outclassed by the 2009 NBA Champions.
