Sasha is shoot first as he should be. Of course he must pass the ball within the offense,
but his strength is aggressive D and shooting.
The Lakers just don't know how to utilize his skills.
They keep playing him at the two along side Farmar, who has no idea of how to get
Sasha an open look.
Sasha played a little point, along side Kobe, last season when Farmar was out, and did a good job.
He got some open looks like DFish does and he played very well.
Sasha can't play along side Farmar and just might be better suited to a team like
Orlando or Cleveland.
Phil has destroyed his confidence playing him with Farmar.

If the Lakers play Odom at the point guard position, with Gasol and Bynum in the low post, it will counter some of the shorter, much quicker guards in the opponent, because whatever they lose in speed, they will get it back in height advantage. Remember Ron Harper leading the Lakers to repeated championships!

Man PAAAALLLEEEEZZZEEEE!!!! You absolutely cannot sit and type that seriously, can you? LoL.. Sasha was damn near given the job for multiple seasons, given a $5 mil per year contract.. his play has suffered for numerous seasons (and postseasons) now. PHIL has nothing to do with it... you cant blame Farmar! This guy is a catch and shoot player and HE GETS HIS SHOTS AND DOES NOT DELIVER!! PERIOD!! I see your in Florida so maybe you dont get the "real" being so far away. Im in L.A.(born and raised) and Im telling you what it is...

Good shooters don't have excuses. They shoot thru their problems. Look at Michael Finley or Steve Kurr. They may come into the game for two minutes and make a difference. They don't have to demand respect, they command it because the team depends on them to make the shot and win!

The Machine needs to accept new programming input; as his operating system is clearly corrupted. Implementing LO's implied subroutine might enhance the probability of The Machine returning to nominal functionality, instead of the GIGO (Garbage In, Garbage Out) mode The Machine is currently looped into. Of course, 2 guards with the responsibility of spacing the floor and stretching the defense need to be able to pull the trigger without hesitation, even when they're not hitting shots, but Vujacic has become so single-minded it's like he's made up his mind what he's going to do BEFORE he gets the ball. Which makes him easy to defend, and a source of many missed opportunities for the team when he's on the floor. Maybe LO can fix his software bug.

Senseofwherewear e is correct. In fact all players should think shoot first, pass second and dribble third. By the way, I've got to respect a person who (I think) referenced Bill Bradley.

the lost confidence of sasha needs surgical solution, the minds and heart was not there,i think lakers should trade or just let him go to other team, to salvage his basketball career.

a team become the best of all teams (champion ) not because of thier best players rather each player took part also on it. so odom and vuyacic must not be taken for granted only. they helped the lakers last season..

He sucks Tiff, plain and simple. If it were up to me, and it were possible, I would send him to the d-League but as a cheerleader.
